How much have you lost?
 Magina,
Congrats on your weight loss. At one week out I had only lost 7 lbs. but was informed that this is perfectly normal. I hope it will be better at the one month appointment but not really feeling any significant loss...although clothes are getting a little looser.
You may have what they call "thrush." This fungal infections (yeast) happens in some people and results from all the antibiotics that end up killing off even the friendly bacteria that you need in your stomach. Look at your tongue. Does it have a white coating that sort of scrapes off with some effort? Thrush comes UP from the digestive tract so if it's in your mouth it is blooming down there. You'll need to go to the doctor and get a prescription for....probably Nystatin which they'll give you either in a the form of lozenges or a liquid that you swish and swallow a little bit at a time, four times a day. I know......I had it. It's gross. Take care!

Surgery was June 19th and I am down 24 lbs.

I do have say with the exception of the this horrible liquid diet...it's much nicer being
on this side of the surgery.
