Hi Jeanne, My girlfriend Trish who is 48 yrs.old has had knee problems for the past 5yrs+ They will not operate on her because she is too young. She has been getting the series of 3 shots per year (I believe that is all you can get in a years time). Once she gets them she is like new for about 8 months and then the pain starts gradually coming back, she said they are fabulous!I can personally see the differnce in her after getting them!!! She said they are not as painful gettting them as you may think, which is a good thing!! Best of luck to you! Let us know how your doing! Nancy Ps.If you have any questions you would like me to ask her send me a email at the bottom of the post and I will find out what you need.

Hi Nancy: I am 51 and had not had a period of 2 or more years. Three days after surgery I really let loose. This happened 2 more times. I have not had anything for almost 2 months. Surgeon said it is very normal. I didn't miss it one bit. Hope this helps. Jeanne

Topic: SYNISC
Post Date: 11/28/06 9:44 am Hi, I just came from the orthopedic surgeon and was told that both of my knees are shot. Because I am only 51 and still have a considerable amount of weight to lose the surgeon is going to try Synisc wihich is injected on three seperate visits. It is supposed to give relief for at least 6 months. Has anyone tried this therapy? If so please liet me know what your outcome is. Thanks. Jeanne
