Topic: RE: How are my June 06 buddies doing? Check in time :)
Hello Bay St. Louis
How are things in Bay St. Louis? I lived there when I was about 13 years old. (Quite a while ago) We moved from Bay St. Louis to Waveland and then to Picayune. I loved Mississippi.
I live near Charleston, South Carolina in a small town called Summerville.
My RNY was done June 9, 2006 and so far I have lost 120 lbs. I have a way to go but seem to be stalled right now. I guess it's time to step up the exercise.
It sounds like all of you on this board are doing great. Our group, Lowcountry Bypass Buddies, are taking a trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend for a girls weekend. It should be fun and I thin the weather may cooperate.
Take care!

Topic: RE: Wow?????
I understand where you're coming from. It's weird not to be the big girl in the group anymore. I think my most disturbing wow lately didn't even feel like a wow to me. I went jeans shopping and found out that depsite my weight having been stable since Christmas, my pants size has dropped again making me smaller than my always tiny mother and sister. I'm 3 inches taller than both of them and I have a larger bone structure so even as a thin teenager I was always bigger than both of them. Wearing a 2P pants and a small top (did I mention my breasts are gone?) while they wear 4P (my sis) and 6P (my mom) pants and medium shirts is very bizarre and somewhat unsettling.
In a number of situations I've found myself now the smallest person instead of the biggest which is very, very strange. It's a whole new world...

Topic: RE: new pics in my skibbies...
Looking great!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had thought to do the before and after pictures, but just didn't want anyone to take pictures of me before. You are really tight for as much weight as you've lost. I've lost about the same as you and am down to 177, but look like a shar pei dog...all skin. Oh well. Congrats...you are hot.

I teach first grade and felt that way many times, at a staff meeting, a grade level meeting, a conference. It is a great feeling - to feel normal. I love it...and yeah, it is a WOW moment, rejoice in it...enjoy the ride.

Topic: RE: Foaming at the mouth like a dog...but well deserved jeje
OK I admit I've had a sip. But I usually put it in my mouth and let it set a bit before swallowing. It does taste good, but if I have more than a sip or two, or I don't let it sit - foamies..or that dumping feeling. SO NOT worth it.

If your Az. board is like our SD board, probably not much action on it. I come to the board quite often but isn't usually much to write about. I am down about 130 lbs, depending on the day. I too have slowed way down and will flucuate a bit. I had tummy flu the other week and that put me at 172, but I've gained back five of that. I am having trouble remembering why carbs are a bad thing, so struggle with that. I would like the June bugs to meet in June but don't know if that is physiccally possible. Oh well. I'll put you on my friends list.

Love when that happens. Congratulations on both your surgery and the weight. I need my knees done, but keep putting it off, hoping it gets better. Hubby has his work party tonight and I went shopping...wow, a medium. I was so amazed. Now if I could get rid of the sags and bags.... oh well.
