I never count my calories, but this got me thinking. I've been on a 2 1/2 -3 week slump, so yesterday I counted and was astonished at what a saw! Yesterday my count was 1200! No wonder I haven't been loosing! My Dr.'s reccomndation for this far out is 1000 calories, but I didn't think I was anywhere near that. Today I got back to basics and at 4pm am at 420 calories + 200 from protien supp.s = 620. Figure that should go up to around 800 after dinner. Much better I think. As for exercise, Docs reccomendation is 5 days a week, 10 warm up then 30 minutes aerobic exercise and 5 min cool down, for a total 45 minutes. I'm actually doing 3 days a week at 45-60 minutes aerobic then 30 minutes weights. Seems to work better for me. Good luck everyone and keep loosing! I Am Stronger Than Myself Janice

Highest: 278 lbs Surgery: 269 lbs LastWeek: 159 lbs Current: 159 lbs Lost Since Surgery: 110 lbs Total lost: 119 lbs Still in my stall. I've been in it long enough that it should break soon (going by past stall patterns). At least that is what I keep telling myself. HAHA!

Consult: 368 Day Of Surgery (7/16): 300 Today: 216.2 Total loss: 151.8 pounds Since RNY: 83.8 pounds Lost three pounds this week, eating buffalo chicken dip, Outback Prime Rib, chopped bleu cheese salad, birthday cake, chocolate truffles-- sad to know that increasing the crap makes me lose faster! GAH! (Was my birthday. I won't do that again for another 360 days!)

May I jump in? I'm a fellow Jul '07 WLS patient. Highest: 262.5 Surgery.: 262.5 Last week: 176 This week: 175 Total lost this month: 1 pound Total lost since surgery: 87.5 My goal weight (5'8" tall): 150 Doc's goal weight: 144 Ugh! I'm so frustrated that I've been stuck for over a month. I did lose 5 inches total this past month, which surprised me. I haven't been following the program, so this is the price I pay. I've used the bad weather and my sick son as an excuse for not exercising. I have been eating too much, grazing on carbs. I am disgusted with myself. I do not, will not, allow myself to fail. I am going to get back on track today.

My "official" weigh in day is Tuesday... but the past few weeks it hasnt mattered with my ping pong weight... so here goes...LOL Highest: 405 Consult: 395 Surgery: 373.5 Last week: 262.5 This week: 261.0 - so down 1.5 pounds... we will see if that sticks... LOL Total Lost since consult.... 134 Total lost since surgery...112.5 Hopefully my weight will decide that it wants to drop again..LOL I do know that I have been still loosing inches...so that is a good thing... my official measure day is Saturday... so I will know officially that I am still loosing inches...LOL Everyone is doing great and we will make it past these stalls and ping pong weighs... and we will continue to loose weight sucessfully. The only good thing about stalls is that they are happening to everyone almost right now... LOL... so we know that it is normal and we are not alone. Susan
