You are sooo right Edna... before you know it you will be in ONEderland and then whooosh the time will go and you will be to goal. And it happens so fast that WHOOOSH you are thin! It seems like it's happened like that for me. Like I went to bed and woke up thin. Even though you have a little longer wait you are so on your way and the time will go by so fast you will see what I mean. You'll look back on the time just before surgery and it will seem like no time at all. A year is really a short period of time... especially when you look back. And especially with so much excitement of losing weight and changing sizes and concentrating on changing our eating and exercising habits. So how does it feel to be thin? One of the things I am enjoying most is feeling normal. Being thin makes it so much easier to dress... even if it's throwing on a pair of sweats... I feel normal in them.... not fat and ugly and a spectacle. Being fat... you feel out of place... (at least I did) feeling thin... just allows me to be more like normal people. Does that make any sense?

Topic: DO YOU GET DIZZY??
I'm wondering if anyone else gets dizzy. Usually in the evening when I stand up I get some pretty bad dizzy spells. I eat all of my protein and drink more than my required fluids so I'm not sure what's causing this. I'm fine during the day, it only happens in the evening.
Topic: RE: How many calories are you all going for at 6months?
When I last saw my dietician at 4 months post-op she said I should be eating between 600-800 calories at this point. I usually eat between 800-1000 but I workout everyday and burn 350-450 calories doing that so my net calories are 350-450 a day. I've been losing steadily at 3 lbs. per week average since surgery. My next appt. with the dietician is March 11th and I'll be interested to hear what she says at that point.

Topic: RE: I finished the 5 day Pouch test!
EXCELLENT Tammy!!! I'm glad to hear it works so well. We have a few people coming to our support group this month who have told me they are gaining weight back so I am going to tell them about this. I did a search and found there is a website:
