I'm so sorry there are people out there like that woman!! Teena, you need to be openly proud of your weight loss! She's the one with the problem, not you. Please don't let her have that kind of power over you. She hasn't had the courage to face her problem(s) head on and is putting you down to make herself feel better. And chances are, it isn't working for her anyway! You've done GREAT with your weight loss and I think you should shout it from the rooftops!! We all should!! It isn't nice, but something I read on a t-shirt years ago comes to mind that fits this woman.....it goes like this: "I may be fat but your ugly, and I can go on a diet!" Like I said, it's not nice, but it fits. And just look! You did what you did to be healthier and thinner and much happier. What has SHE done for herself except to put you down? She's not worth your time. Whenever you're feeling down, come here!! We'll be your cheerleaders and tell you how fabulous you look!! ((((((((((Teena))))))))))) God bless!! Brenda

This is my best wow moment so far! I have to start by saying I don't normally post stuff like this. However, I soooo look forward to reading other people's wow moments. But, this one was too good not to share. When I graduated from college (10 years ago) I was wearing a size 8/10. I had started my first real job and had to go out a buy a bunch of suits. Over the years the suits have gotten bigger, with my favorite suit coming in at size 14 (but very very tight). I really should have been wearing a 16, but I just didn't want to spend that much money on a suit that I would hopefully not have to wear for long. So, yesterday I had a job interview and I pull out my favorite suit, which is the size 14. I've lost some weight so I was looking forward to having it fit me properly. You can imagine my surprise when the pants slipped right off of me!! Now I was stressing because I didn't have a back-up plan. It never occured to me that my suit wouldn't fit me. I dug to the back of the closet and pulled out my black Ann Taylor suit from back in the day. The jacket was an 8P and the pants were a 10P (i've always had a big butt!). Can you believe they both fit perfectly!!! I was so excited!! I told my roommate that I was going to land this job because I was wearing a new "good luck" suit. It was so exciting for me to actually wear something that I hadn't worn in so long that classified as "my skinny clothes". I swear I'm going to hug my surgeon at my next appt! And by the way...I got the job!!

To calculate the percentage of excess weight lost: starting weight - goal weight = excess weight take total weight lost/excess weight x 10 = % of excess weight lost I hope that made sense!

I gotta say sometimes if it isn't time to eat and I am sooooooooooo hungry I will grab a pickle or pop some low cal popcorn...I eat 3 meals a day and my high protein milk is 1 or 2 of those meals. So I find a snack sometimes very important to my well being!!!!!!......lol hugs Pamela
