Well, you are ahead of me post-surgery. I think I should have lost more than 40 post op but then don't we all! LOL I have not really exercised at all. I've been trying to walk at work more, but not really exercising. I know I should but I still have problems with lower back pain if I walk too much or stand too long.

Topic: RE: I have officially lost
I had my surgery on Aug 22, 2007. I have lost 37 lbs so far. It has been a slow but since I need to lose 100 lbs I look at it as I am a third of the way there in three months. Not bad although there are so many that have lost a lot more them me. My doc told me not to compare myself to others as we are all different and the main thing is to lose weight and eventually get to our ideal body weight. Thanks for all your posts! It is good to have a great resource to touch base with everyone who have gone through this journey at the same time as me. Krysti

Topic: RE: Iron Supplements
My Surgeon told me to start taking Iron next this month on the anniversary date of my surgery. Then he said I would take iron for as long as I can have babies. After that shouldn't need to take iron anymore.

Topic: RE: Do you dump?
I have dumped before.. I have yet to find someone that went through the excruciating pain that I go through. I feel pukey..and if you have had labor pains.. remember what dialated to 9 felt like during a contraction..and multiply by 10.. I have NEVER felt pain like I feel when I dumped.. I accidently dumped because I ate a bite of hersheys syrup.. ya I know.. I was stupid.. NEVER again..it hurts to bad...I can't explain how it feels for me to dump.. other than it hurts..I learned my lesson.. Never any sugar..EVER..
