Good Evening all!! My scale isn't working as of this morning. I guess I broke it weighing so often lol. Oh well. I was hanging steady at 130 all week. Thats fine with me. I am however 3 lbs from goal so I would like to at least get there. I know I lost some inches this week though. I went from a juniors 9 to a juniors 7. That was an exciting moment!! I also went back to work. I havent worked in three years. So I decided last month that my new found energy was being wasted and I got a part time job waitressing just to get out of the house for a few hours a day. It feels sooo good!!

Do you drink enough?
I do NOT have a sensor that tells me I'm thirsty. I never feel thirsty. Even after a good exercise session, no thirst at all. It's very weird, but I've always been this way, before surgery too. When my body is thirsty, I get the signal that I want to eat. It's annoying, but at least I'm aware of it, y'know?
So when I feel snacky (which can be often depending on the day and time of month!!!) I make sure I drink something and see if that helps. 8 times out of 10, I was simply thirsty and got the wrong signal.
And it seems, lately, when I feel snacky, and it's not time to eat yet, and I've tried drinking something first...I turn to a warm liquid. Coffee, tea, or broth...and this tides me over quite well. Coffee works best for me, especially if I put a bit of milk in it. Your milage may vary, of course, but maybe this will help.

I had the same problem with stalling too and doing lots of exercise. I called the nutritionist and she told me I was not hydrated enough for the amount of exercise I was doing which was causing my weight loss to stall. I have a bad habit of drinking tea instead of water. I decreased the tea, upped the water and added some light juice (cranberry/apple - 70 calories for 8 oz) and I have been losing steadily again ever since. I don't know how well you hydrate, but it may be worth checking into whether you are getting enough too.

Hi there my friends! MUCH better week for me...I guess I just needed to eat a little more. Have my Grandbaby with me, so she keeps me a movin too...she is one and full of energy. The week before last was THE WORST for me. I was doing the stress eating thing too. I realized last week though, that it was PMS time the previous week. I relaxed, breathed and made myself realize that things like this are going to happen from time to time. We just need to be aware of the cause and know how to remedy it. I know, for me, it was PMS that week, becuase after the stressful week I had last week and this week with the last two weeks of school, finding out I'm gonna be a grandma, and financial woes, I've been doing much better with my eating. I know you'll be ok, Tammy! You're a fighter with the spirit of an angel! And whenever you're having trouble, you know you can come here and we'll love you through it.
I truly love all of you that post on here....you have NO IDEA how many times just reading has changed my attitude and made my discouragement dwindle. It's WONDERFUL to have a place to come and let down our guard with people we know understand us.
Hang in there, hon! You're AWESOME!!
