Surgery date Aug. 16th!!!!! RNY Nervous!!!!

I just started my liquid diet yesterday and I am not liking it lol!!!  I try and stay busy for the most part or sleep....  I am really nervous!!!  My husband and I are stationed here at Fort Hood and I have no family within a 1,000 miles of here!!!  I have 1 friend here and that is about it.... I am having my surgery at Darnall Army Medical Center next Tuesday... I am so ready to start this new journey in my life....

Wishing you all the best.  I forget what it is like to have a REAL Hospital on post.  We had a small one with very limited services at FLW, but Fort Drum  has nothing but a clinic, even the UCC closes at 8:00 pm. I had to travel to Syracuse an hour and 15 mins for my surgery and all my follow up aptts.  Good Luck to you!!!
