Finally!
After what seems like an eternity, I finally broke through 260. Today I was 257.5. That's 7.5 pounds from my "goal" to start flying lessons. And since I just signed the paperwork for the my raise, I guess I'm gonna get to take them too!
257.5 pounds. Who would have thought it? I'm also 7.5 pounds away from losing 200 pounds. A double century. That's 200 pounds from my highest, not my surgery weight... From surgery I've lost a mere 170 pounds.
Isn't this surgery just amazing? Tonight I was working at the Church putting things together for the new Children's wing. I put together cribs, swings and train tables. Amazing what all I could do by myself.

Michael,
Congradulations on reaching another goal. I realized this morning as I was running my 3 miles that I was ONLY 25lbs overweight!! Sounds strange but what a feeling. I wonder how many normal people are 25lbs overweight? jacqueline
Excellent!! Well done, Mike.
I am constantly amazed how easy this seems to me...The results have been fantastic. I believe that I am one of the "lucky" ones. I seem to be able to eat ANYTHING I want, including ice cream, chocolate, etc. The quanity is just less. I suspect, though, that we all have the hidden fear that it will all stop soon and reverse back. I hope that we all can be diligent and don't let that happen to any of us.
I thank everyone for their support and inspiration. Good luck all!!
Randy H.
WOW!!! Michael, you are truly an inspiration to the rest of us. Everything you have been through since your surgery -- you have had your ups and downs and you are a trooper consistently working at continuing your post op work...and we all know that post op is work!
Congratulations!!!! Keep up the great work!
