*** I DID IT!!!*****

TANYA - WOW!!! What a difference. You look fantastic. I am so happy for you. I told someone who was having surgery this September NOT to buy any expensive things, go to thrift shops cause you go out of them too fast.
Which is a funny story I'll tell you. I went to a thrift shop probably about six months ago. And I was just looking. And this nice looking young woman held out a floral skirt, full, not real long, pastel blue with little ziggys of different embrodriery through it. Sort of had a bohemian look which is totally my style. She held it up and said 'this isn't my size, but I bet it would look good on you'. It was a large. Made in China. Do you know how small the clothes are that are made in China!! Then she said 'I saw so many skirts like this at Tysons Corner (a shopping mall here) and they are so popular'. Well needless to say I bought it. Five bucks. Plus I had the endorsement of this very stylish YOUNG woman that this was the skirt to get. Well of course when I got it home it didn't zip up. I knew it wouldnt. So I put a safety pin on the place on the zipper as to how far I could zip, and every month I tried it on, and moved the zipper. Well guess what. Today I zipped that sucker all the way up!! I'm so excited. And I signed up for dancing lessons (swing) that starts on Wednesday and I thought I would wear that skirt. But you know what -- I'M SICK OF THE DANG THING!!! I don't even want to wear it. It's probably out of style by now anyway!!!
Oh, and Tanya, to have your daughter's endorsement of your clothes -- I miss that so much. I love shopping with my daughters.
Congratulations you beautiful redhead!! Oh, and one other thing, I heard that we lose weight from the top down, so be patient, those knees and thighs that you are so worried about will be coming along..
love to you!

Congratulations!!! What a great feeling that must be!!! Doesnt it just seem like everyday is a new WOW moment????
I can relate, I just tried on a closet ful of 14's tonight,,some fit,,some almost,,and its been 19 years for me for that!! I still cant believe it!
Im so happy for you,,,and its only gonna get better!!!

Tanya,
Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel. Last night I got into a size 8, they were stretchy material jeans so I guess you go one size down, but they were 8's none the less. I don't think I have seen 8's since I was in high school, which was 15 years ago. Your pictures are great, keep up the good work.
