Thanks for your quick response. Today I went to the website the hospital offers and it must be very new. There were only a couple of postings. Anyway here I am @ 3am still not sleeping.. My schedule has always been off but being out of work for the past week I thought for sure I would be sleeping normal.. (NOT).. I did take bilingual Vit B12 today around 6pm maybe that has something to do with it.. I really feel like cleaning out all my clothes but I know I will need to hang on to some that I didn't fit into (too small) but I don't even want to wear those b/c thier old and I think I will still associate them with my size even though I havent worn them in a year. Does that make any sense?? anyone else on vb12 and or having trouble sleeping?? thanks for any input tam:-)

SOOO been there. I am on soft moist foods and have been for a week. What a difference chewing makes.Hang in there I finally feel like I am eating somewhat normal things and can eat with my family. Maybe abit motified but I don't feel so alienated anymore.

Hang in there! The puree stage will be there before you know it. It won't be the last time your family makes eggs and toast, I would imagine. You'll be able to join them before you can blink an eye! - started purees 4 days ago

Hey thanks guys for the support...I did go to the director of the program, the associate dean and the dean of my college and they all apologized but didn't really bat an eye. I am sure they didn't want to implicate her in case I did go to a lawyer. I can't believe her either. She still is talking to my classmates about me, she told my group that I was dismissed from school and then when they let me back in, she told someone she couldn't believe they would work with me because she wouldn't have. She is the worst nurse I have ever known. But at least God has shown me exactly how not to behave. I hope she gets fired, she adds nothing to the clinical experience. Anyhow, how are all of you doing? Feeling any better? I hope so, I think that all of us are so brave for changing our lives like this because Lord knows it is not easy....Thanks again for the support, I truly apprecicate it... Love, Jessica

Well, I've made it!!!! I had open R-Y, gallbladder, and a hernia fixed!!! Good grief.....talk about killing 3 birds.....lol! Anyway, I am home now (I've been home since Wednesday) and I'm tired of pudding. This morning, I had a really hard time because my family made eggs and toast, and it smelled AMAZING...and there sat my jello and pudding....and I just started to CRY. Anyone else feeling sad that they can't eat??? I know it won't be long before pureeds..and then back to real food, but I had a let-down this morning. Hope everyone else is doing GREAT!!! Anne

OK, maybe I'm just being ridiculous... but isn't it against the law for her to do that? I don't blame you for being upset... sounds like this lady needs a good lesson. I'd go to the dean of your school and at least talk to a lawyer. This HAS GOT to be protected under HIPPA somehow... Good luck! Renee

Welcome aboard mate. I 'm glad to hear your're feeling better. I am 4 days post op. I haven't chewed for a week, some days, hours and minutes. I'm good though. When the toughs get going I head to OH, my journal or sew machine. Anyplace but the kitchen. I even cleared all hidden stashes that were in my room. So proud of myself. I gave it to the kids they had a ball. I rationed it all out with directions to share the excess with kids at school. They were excited to do this. Even the high schoolers. Sincerely, adiamondintheruf :afro:
