If you belong to a Curves, they have a good protein powder that you use with skim milk. I have been able to keep it down and my 10 yr old son likes it too.

I joined at my 4 week surgery anniversary (you and I share a surgery date - congratulations!). I LOVE it! I feel sooooo good after exercising, and that is not the norm for me - I'm a couch potato by nature. I highly recommend Curves. Good luck!

Topic: What do you eat?
Hi, I am almost 7 weeks out and have been ok'd by my doctor to eat "normal" food. I just don't know what to eat. I want to eat healthy stuff, but I am so sick of the same old things I have been eating. I was just wondering what everyone else is eating. Maybe I will get some idea's for different foods. Thank you so much for you replies!! Rachael

I tired several brands, flavors and ways to make protein drinks and I just could not gag any of them down at all! Finally I tried Hanks and was able to get them down. I have become lactose intolerant so I can get only 1 a day down so I doctor it up a bt. I do 1 scoop of Hank's protein, 1/2 scoop of unflavored Unjury and a few teaspoons of SF Nesquick (to take care of that nasty after taste). I use a blender with a few ice cubes and it is not too bad. Hanks is very expensive, but yo don't have to drink these shakes forever and I figure it is just part of my recovery. Plus I used my husband's credit card - not mine!!! LOL!! Dena B.
