Topic: RE: Queasy?
I had my surgery on 09/19/2006 and experienced similar symptoms. I've contacted my surgeon who's scheduled and upper GI for Monday, but I actually feel a bit better today--go figure. Best wishes!

Topic: RE: third week tiredness
I haven't really been too tired; in fact, I can barely sleep. I feel like I need to, but can't. I hope you feel better!
Topic: RE: Period????
I had my period while I was having surgery too. I was really worried because I wasn't starting but having sick cramps and backaches. I started on Sunday and I have continued with horrible cramps and my flow is heavy heavy heavy. I bled through my pants, my sheets and I haven't done that since I was a teenager. YUCK!!! I hate my period. I hope all of them aren't like this.

Topic: third week tiredness
Hi all September Surgerys,
After the first difficlt week, I seemed to s pring back on the second week with great weight loss, walking and improving energy. Now I find this third week I am back to taking 2 naps a day instead of one and I am dragging. Surgeon warned me this would be the case till I get to soft foods in another week and a half. Any of you experience this? Are you having more energy at a month or 5 weeks out? Jane L.

Topic: RE: One month post-op
I will be one month post op on 9/21, I was losing the first 3 weeks and then actually gained 3-4 lbs
I had a fill last week and feel hungry as ever, but I am still on liquids. I wonder if I will feel the restriction from the fill once I start on solids, any advice.
Thanks,
Denise

Topic: 3 week post op visit!
I went to my 3 week post op visit I have lost 25lbs. Everything looked great. I am so excited!!!! I was told I could eat meats as long as I chewed it up to mush so I went to Krystals' and got a chick and took teh breading off it. It was wonderful!. I don't want to get back into fast food so i bought turkey and low fat cheese so that I can get my protien in. My family went to Ryan;s the other day and I got a little of everythign and only ate like one bite of potatoes maybe 2 greenbeans, two peices of shrimp (mummm) and some watermelon. It was good just to be out. I knew i ate different stuff than i was suppost to at 3 weeks but when i told teh dr. she was ok with it because it did not have any bad effects on me. I went home that night and felt satisfied with what i had eaten. I hope that everyone is getting along well with thier wls. Jamie

Hi T.C.
You are doing excellent on the weightloss. I had my surgery on 9/12/06 and I'm down 30 pounds. I know, it feels good. Maybe eventually you'll start to feel even better about yourself and the changes you need to make to become happy and fulfilled will just happen naturally. Just remember that you have thousands of people on this site available if you ever need to talk. Everyone here cares about you. Keep up the good work.
Take care,
Rachel
