Great job today CeCe!! I totally agree this accountability thing is awesome. I remember a couple months back getting onto the Dec 06 board and they were doing this. I thought, gee I wish we were doing it. Britt you're awesome
I love your #7 today. That is a goal I would very much like to adopt as well.

1. 1251 calories, 25 g carbs, 107 g protien
2. 250 cal - lower body workout (and boy am I gonna feel it tomorrow I can already tell) and went for a 15 min walk with the dog this evening (not counting that). I also had a lesson today and sang for an hour but apparently that's just going to make me fat and doesn't actually burn any calories...I'm not bitter or anything...
3. I didn't touch the trail mix...yippee. HUGE pat on my back. And my front desk girl filled up her candy dish with chocolate malt balls, which I love and usually eat at least one of, and I didn't eat a single one!
4. By the end of tonight I'll have gotten 50.
5. I took them all, but took my iron with my calcium thinking it was one of my Vit D pills, then I looked down, still had two vit D and no iron in my hand. So the calcium and iron pretty much cancelled each other out. But at least I took them.
6. Drink more water - doing better today. No trail mix - oh yeah baby...got that one done for sure!
7. maintain weight and current eating habits - Got my carbs back down and protien up, calories were in line. I'd have to say it was a good day!
8. Bought the Beck book last night. I'll start reading it tonight. Here's to another great day tomorrow

Topic: RE: I guess opera singer really are fat for a reason
Oh totally. Pavarotti loved to eat and made no excuses for it. There is one story about a famous wagnerian soprano (who is quite large) who took the whole roasted chicken that was going to be used as a prop that night and ate the whole thing before the performance. The prop master found the carcass hidden behind her costumes after the show. Opera singers in particular have said for years that they "must" be big in order to make the big sounds they do. Well, Debra Voigt who is one of the top wagnarian sopranos today (which is the biggest singing you can possibly do) had WLS, lost almost all her extra weight and guess what...she still singing the big stuff and can still be easily heard over the orchestras at the big houses she's always sung in. No more excuses!!!
Honestly, most of my friends for most of my life have all had weight issues. Some of us more than others but with few exceptions we have all been morbidly obese. I think it's that like is attracted to like, especially in friendships, it was always hard to be around my skinny friends who could do so much more, never had to worry about fitting in a chair, going for a hour long bike ride and not being exhausted, going out and being the only one guys didn't talk to. The list goes on and on. The reality was my skinny friends never really noticed that I wasn't like them...I mean they knew, but they didn't care. It was always me that cared and worried about it.
Man, do we mess ourselves up or what?
