WELL MY WEIGHT LOSS WAS SHORT LIVED. I JUST KNEW THOSE STINKING M&M'S WOULD CATCH UP WITH ME. (NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER GARBAGE I HAVE BEEN EATING)!!

HUBBY AND I FINALLY GOT OUR TAILS BACK IN THE GYM LASTNIGHT (AFTER A LONG TIME OF NOT GOING) IT FELT SO GOOD TO GET SOME EXERCISE IF WE WOULD JUST KEEP IT UP.

Yay, yay, yay!!!! Good for you to turn down that cake and stand your ground about it. I guess I've been lucky by fussing so much the last two years about how I can't and choose not to eat real sugar for fear of getting sick or for just making me want it more. Now I don't have people throwing sweets at me all the time, they are pretty much all really good about it. Doesn't mean I don't want something sugary everybody else is having. Where I go wrong is by having my substitute sweets too often. I just need to toughen up and do without sometimes.
That you have made it two days without anything sweet is really inspirational to me. I am so adjusted to sweet stuff now that I can't imagine doing that. The morning latte has sf syrup, the midmorning snack is always a homemade protein bar or a homemade muffin....something sweet. And Iike I said to Melissa, there's always some version of 'dessert'.
Maybe life will be a little easier once the straawberry season starts up good and then watermelon. At least that way my sugars will be in the form of fruits.

Ok...we have a definite trend going on here. SWEETS! Maybe this year of post-op life should be called the Battle of the Sweet Tooth. Or something along those lines...
I'm impressed that you are adding the .6 to your number, I NEVER do that. Guess it is plain old vanity but I don't forsee that changing anytime soon.
This week is TOM and it always means a gain for me so I can't commit to a number goal for next week but I'd sure like no more gains!!!

You are SO NOT ALONE in that boat! I'm wondering about something amongst us December babies....do some of us have 'worse' habits now than we did when we were pre-ops? I used to sneak eat real bad and have tried to get that under control. Back then since I couldn't let anybody see me eat anything so-called 'bad' I never let myself sit around eat sweets after dinner or just as grazing. Now that I've lost weight my sweets are all sugar free but they sure aren't calorie free and now they appear very steadily in my daily diet. (you know that by the amount of sugar free recipes I've come up with over the last few years) See what I mean? Worse habit than before surgery.
Now like you my meals just aren't complete without some kind of dessert and heck...most of my breakfasts are sweet enough to BE dessert.
You bet I will pray for you and I sure appreciate your prayers too.

I AM SO GLAD TO KNOW I AM NOT ALONE WHEN IT COMES TO THE BAD EATING HABITS. NOT THAT I WI**** ON ANYONE ELSE BUT SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THIS BOAT AND I AM SCARED TO DEATH THAT I AM GOING TO START GAINING AND NOT STOP!!!!! I AM SO STUCK ON PEANUT BUTTER M&M'S IT ISN'T FUNNY. AND WORSE OF ALL IT IS A NIGHTIME SNACK WHEN I AM IN MY BED WATCHING TV. I HAVE ATE SO MUCH THAT I HAVE GOTTEN A STOMACHE OFF OF THEM. ALSO AFTER EVERY MEAL I WANT SOMETHING SWEET TO EAT. IT SEEMS LIKE MY MEAL IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT SOME KIND OF DESERT.

I'm not sure, but seems like you might be in starvation mode. 800 cal doesn't sound like much to live on if you ask me. IMO I think you need to go with your nut and not the Dr.
I really don't count my calories but I know I definately get more than 800 cal. (probably too much) LOL I also want to loose 30 more # and have been at a stand still since Nov.
