SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING A ROUGH TIME. I'VE ONLY BEEN TO THE GYM ONE TIME IN A WEEK. I DO GOOD FOR A WHILE THEN BACK TO NOTHING, JUST CAN NOT KEEP UP THE THINGS I KNOW I NEED TO.
I WILL KEEP YOUR BABY IN MY PRAYERS THAT HIS LITTLE ARM HEALS UP REAL SOON.
BLESSINGS

Topic: Dropped the ball...
If anyone can't tell...I kind of dropped the ball in the last few days with the accountability thread. I have come to the conclusion that:
1. As much as we are all still battling the little food demons, my bigger issue is exercise.
2. I have maintained my current weight (give or take a couple pounds up/down) with my current eating plan and honestly, very little exercise.
3. Consistency is my nemesis!
I had every intention of starting the Couch to 5 K plan on Sunday (my 2 year surgiversary) but well, life, as usual, got in the way. I think about it every day but can't get myself to just do it. I have a few excuses but they really aren't the issue just excuses is all.
My 4 YO was playing at McD's and a bigger kid knocked him over (they were on the floor not even in those tubey things) and he cried and cried. That isn't like him, he usually cries for a minute or two, then gets up and moves on. After fussing for 45 minutes, going home, laying on the couch, favoring his other arm, I finally decide it is time for a visit to the ER. The result: a broken clavicle.
Not much they can do for it. Tylonol and motrin and keep him from using that arm/shoulder for a few weeks (he is doing that on his own without prompting from me). But, bed time has become a battle, cause he hurts and doesn't want to lay on it, wants to lay in my bed, etc, etc. So, my once free evenings to do as I please (whether I choose exercise or TV) have turned into nursing the 4 YO's boo-boo and psyche.
I could wake up earlier in the AM. But...well, I am not a morning person. and, if the babe is in my bed, out goes the treadmill idea for fear of waking him up with that noise.
Sorry, for the vent. I so need Jillian to move into my house and kick my arse into gear!

Topic: 2 YEAR SURGIVERSARY
December 11th marks my 2 year surgiversary. I can't believe it has been 2 years. I am still learning and losing. Exercise is a challenge for me. I plan to do better. I am excited, I never thought I would see this day.
Topic: I am still Alive
Well I am still here i do not post much but i lerk around.. Not much has changed I had hernia repairs in July and seem to be feeling ok. My weight loss stopped at 6 months post surgery and I am fairly pleased I would like to lose some more to make it to the initial goal of 150 not really that far from it. I was taken off insulin finally in November 2007 so that was a big relief. No medication needed now and loving it.. I will be more active on here soon enough. All of you are doing so well congrats..
