Hi, hope you had a great t-day.  Great weigh-in, congrats!  Next Tuesday is my 2-yr post-op appt. so I am extra motivated to eat right and have a good weigh-in.   So far, so good!

HW: 268
SW: 230
lowest: 130
LW: 145
CW: 142

Biggest helps so far...no store-bought protein bars in the house!  Those calories plus extra grazing were just too many.  I miss them but am doing much better w/o.

Where on Earth is everybody at?

Are we just too busy with life and holiday events and family?

Are we avoiding posting because we have been "naughty"?

Are we feeling down because of the holiday(s)?

Are we not following rules and feel ashamed?

Come on fess up...

We all do it.

We are all human.

I may post my plan for the day.  May give you a false sense of my being "good" and following the rules.  I don't mean to do that.

I post my plan for the world to see so that I have a higher probability of actually following the plan!  The way I see it:  If I put my plan out there and then don't do it...what is the point in putting it out there in the first place?  Of course there are those days when I follow plan all day and then my evening comes around and sometimes I do fall off.  I even fess up to it the next day on accountability.

We are all human.

I did well yesterday.  Even did my 45 minutes on the elliptical!  That's right I did 45 minutes!  Of course watching The Biggest Loser is my best motivation while on the torture devise but it does keep me distracted so I don't drive myself nuts watching the clock tick by.

B-protein shake
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L-chili
S- protein balls
D- chicken soup
S- yogurt w/granola and maybe a few protein balls if the need to snack arises again.

I am gonna do 45 minutes again on the elliptical.

goal for today is to get back on the exercise habit! The Holidays can really get you off track can't they?

B- protein shake
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L- chicken soup
S- protein balls
D- chili (trying to get rid of what is in the freezer so I can make a new batch this weekend)
S- yogurt w/ frozen BB's

Anyone see a trend here ?  Kind of going down the liquid path I have noticed.  Wasn't deliberate on my part but I so love the winter comfort foods like soups and chili's.  Lost most of tha****er weight I had put on over the weekend so I am going to just keep at this and see where it leads.

Gonna try 45 min. on the elliptical tonight.  Biggest Losder is on so that gives me inspiration and may motivate me/push me to do it.  I really need Jillian to move into my house and abuse me!  (But I would much rather stare at Bob ;-)

So I see we all kinda disappeared for a few days...Thanksgiving weekend and family outings plus shopping!

Starting fresh today...kind of let things go all weekend.  Did eat a few bites of pie and cheesecake on Turkey day and a bite of fudge...made myself feel icky for the afternoon but really all my dumping symptoms are usually just sleepiness  and general ickiness.  Not really nauseous but just icky.

On to today:

B- Mocha protein shake
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L- homemade chicken veggie soup
S- chili
D- more chicken veggie soup
S- yogurt w/ BB's

I am REALLY trying to get back on track...I so let things go all weekend and I got on the scale this AM...boy o carbs cause some serious water-retention!

Brat,

150lbs sound incredible--i havent lost nearly as much and and fighting a 10-20lbs re-gain. In your case, how far are you from your goal weight? if you are still loosing (just more slowly), you may want to just let the nature (and your existing tool) take its course.

I had my surgery in AZ and I live in KS I am looking for a surgeon in KS or MO that does revisions to get their opinion. I know that the after effect wil be different but i want to know if anyone has had been satisfied with the end results. That is one of my questions is how soon is too soon to consider revision surgery.
