Amy, sorry to hear such bad news...sending lots of ciberhugs your way.

Keep your head up and only time (not food) will heal your pain.

Love,

Bea

Oh my gosh, I am so so so sorry.  Nothing I can say will help your pain, but know that you are a big part of this Dec family and we love you.
You and your family are in my prayers.

Almost Turkey day!  How are we going to fair this year?  Last year I at too much and my pouch let me know it by making me miserable the rest of the day.   Gonna have to remember to take it slow and easy this year.

For today:
B-mocha protein shake
S-coffee w/ SF creamer
L-chili
S- turkey rollup w/ cream cheese
D- could have scrambled eggs again but may have some soup...depends on what the Babe wants to eat.  He like to help scramble and crack open the eggs so we will probably end up with that.
S- yogurt

I am a serious night eater.  Not that I wake up to eat in the night, but after dinner...I want nothing more than to graze all night.  My 4 YO is doing the same thing.  Only he just skips dinner altogether half the time and just wants to snack all night.  A bite here, a bite there.  I don't want to make food an issue but I don't know how to fix this either.  If I say no he cries and says he is hungry.  He is a little guy and is considered small/on the verge of under-weight for his age so I usually feel like I need to let him eat something.  But then he doesn't fini**** and wants something different.  this goes on 5 times a night I swear.  And, being me, I hate to see food wasted.  All I see is $$$ going in the trash.  I know the problem is more me than him so I am trying to work on this.  Last night he had 2 oatmeal cookies, ate one and then said he was done.  Instead of throwing the other away or putting it in a ziploc...what did I do? I ate it.  then he wants a hot dog 5 minutes later.  Try to say no because he never finished eating the cookie but then give in and let him have the hot dog cause well he's hungry!  See the cycle here?

I had posted last week that I was having some issues with my preganancy.  Turns out it was a tubal preganancy and yesterday the doctor gave me a shot to basically induce a miscarriage.  If the medicine works it will save my tubes.  If we just wait the pregnancy could rupture ruining the tube.   I have always been an emotional  eater and the sadness and guilt killing me.

Just wanted to let you know what was happening.  Thank you for all your support

Just wanted to let my dec family know that I am having exploratory surgery tomorrow afternoon.
I have been in the hospital for a week now with excruciating abdominal pain and they have not been able to figure out what it is.

My vote is for internal hernia and my surgeon votes for gallbladder.  I am thinking of placing a wager on it lol

He will first check for a hernia in the small intestine.  If there is one he will repair it.  If no hernia than the problem is the gallbladder and it will be removed.

I will probably just let Shawn know how I am doing and she can let you guys know

Take care everyone and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Hi, Elaine.  Glad I don't have any of that kind of rice cake...it would be hard for me to turn them down.   Haven't logged food for days, just been too busy.  Done a lot of grazing and almost no exercise but on my feet working constantly the last few days getting ready for the holiday.  You know how it is....

Doing much better today but my weight was up two pounds this morning.  Monday nights are awful, I have to try very hard to keep it somewhat under control.  Here's so far:

--sf lactaid latte, 1 frigo light mozz stick
--1/2 cup 0% fage yogurt, 1/4 cup granola
--1 cup veggie 'casserole', 1 sf choc. 'cupcake'  (this made me sick)
--another sf choc. cupcake, 1 frigo light  mozz stick
--1 banana (grazed over an hour)
projected dinner: a package of shirataki tofu noodles w/teriyaki sauce, chicken sausage and veggies
lots of tea...I'm so cold!

Tomorrow...short shift at work followed by a long afternoon waiting for auto repairs.  Blech...

I did not log anything yesterday...took a day off.  Hope everyone did okay.  At the end of my day I decided that if there were a food shortage I could stock up on PB and Honey Vanilla Rice cakes and survive quite well.  Besides my protein coffee that is almost all I ate yesterday!

B- Mocha protein shake
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L-Chili
S- deli turkey w/ cream cheese
D- eggsw/salsa
S- yogurt w/ BB's

Have a good one!
