Good job on the fight!  Keep up the great work.

Too busy this week and tired from being back at work, not good numbers like I'd hoped but at least it isn't a gain.

HW: 268
SW:230
Lowest: 130
LW: 145
CW: 145

No progress.   Back-to-back potlucks today and tomorrow and then support group Thurs. night...that should help re-energize me.

See you prob. Friday evening.

I agree, completely.  Hubby and I already talked.  I've waited 16 years for this, he's waited 6.  Why stress ourselves with the minute chance of miscarriage, plus waiting on the return of test results.  If they come back fine, you've had 1-3 weeks of additional stress for no reason.  If they come back otherwise, you then have 5 more months of obsessing and worrying, and most the time, even once the baby is born it can't be evaluated for the full degree of problematic scope until they are several months to years old.

We both are against terminating for any reason other than a defect that would naturally terminate the pregnancy itself..sooooo.. why do the test?  God doesn't hand you anything you can't handle.

We'll go listen to the specialist and get our options, but with Ray being 8 years younger than me, and all the new studies regarding younger male spouses and it contributing to the decrease in the "maternal age" effects, we're 99.5% sure, any amnio testing is a no go.  If they can do some of the genetic testing through regular bloodwork, jab away!

Last night was BAD...had 2 frosted cookies...no apparent reason...wasn't hungry...ate 'em anyway.  This morning I took what was left of that cream cheese frosting (ya' know the kind in a tub that is sinful and full of sugar) and stuck it in the kitchen sink and poured ho****er in the container!  Only thing left now are the plain ole butter cookies.  And well, those are okay but don't tempt me like the fosted ones finally did.  I was so good at resisting them for days (made them Sunday) but somehow the lid to that tupparware container popped open and one then two just jumped in my hands and before I knew it into my pie-hole!

B- protein shake and a cheese slice
S- coffee w/ SF creamer
L-beans w/sausage
S- 1 PB rice cake
D- turkey/cream cheese roll up
S- yogurt w/BB, granola

Have a good day!

What have you been doing to step it up again?  I am trying very hard to stay accountable everyday, and, really am okay where I am, but really want the normal BMI!  But, I don't want to kill myself to get it either.

HW/SW-225, height 5'4
lowest weight ever (1 day this March when I had a really bad flu---116)
surgeon's goal 144 or anything under (baiscally, just anything normal bmi)
my personal "dream" goal 115lbs --bmi around 19 or so--came within a pound, damn it:)

fighting re-gain update:
last week --143.5
this week--134

very unhappy with the re-gain but very happy with this week's result. goal for next week--to be down at lease another 2-3lbs (i know 9lbs was mostly water weight--i lost 7.5 lbs in one day then it took me another 6 days to lose another 1.5 lbs so i have to be realistic.)

short term goal--be down to low 120s by new years--same weight as i was at last new years. after that--finally reach 115 by the end of January and keep my ever expanding ass under 120 forever (unless or until i get pregnant, of course but that is not something i;m planning for another couple of years).

My thoughts on the amnio(not that you asked).  If the results are "bad" are you going to end the pregnancy?  If not why risk the baby's health from the risks of the needle.  But that is just how I think about it.  You have to make the right decsion for you.

After two days of pizza madness, today was much better.

Breakfast: supreme pizza slice (thin crust)
Snack: 100 calorie Chips Ahoy! and a thing of Wild Berry gummy lifesaves
Lunch: 1/2 an egg, bacon and cheese croissant
Snack: pickle!  (I've always loved 'em, kosher dills ) and 1/4 a bag of Chex mix snack
Dinner: Mexican .. headed to favorite taqueria for carne asada enchiladas in green sauce, beans and a little rice
Late night snack: Protein drink, or my yogurt..whatever I'm in the mood for by then.

Will find out next Weds how I'm doing on the weight gain.  Think since last visit a month again, a 1 or a 1.5.

Crossing fingers and hoping for good news for you.

I get to go see the specialist on the 10th, to decide if I'm going to let them jab me with the amnio needle, due to my "advanced aged".

Can you say, "Bite me?!"
