Hi Everyone,
Ro sent me an email two months ago about reactivating my status - I just now am opening my email for this site.
Things are going well for me. I am enjoying my job, and I have started singing with my husband's country/western band (I don't know if I had told ya'll or not) on a weekly basis. I'm also a part of my church's praise/worship team. Last month we got to open for Cadman's Call and Bethany Dillon in front of 6000 people. What a rush! I was so excited, I just didn't have time to be nervous. I share this because I would have NEVER had the courage to do these things pre-WLS.
Days seem to fly by for me - I sometimes feel like I am just below the surface of a whirlpool as it spins out of my control. Used to, I would have freaked out and found a pound of oreos to sooth my nerves. I am trying to let things go and do what I can, knowing there will be a bunch of things I won't get to - and that it's OK. I am also trying to let others around me take the lead and follow-up on stuff. It's been rather liberating. I can't say I am completely over my need to be 'on top' of everything; but it's better.
With the holidays rolling in, I am trying to avoid the emotional quicksand that sucks me into a horrible funk. It would be nice if I could have an adult holiday and not regress this year.
Here's hoping you all have a wonderful holiday season - free of sugar/carb guilt and full of wonderful food-free memories!!
Much Love,
Kerdeeya
I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU I PRAY FOR A HEALTHY DELIVERY AND A HEALTHY BABY
