Diet A & W Root Beer poured over ice to remove most of the fizz, add one tablespoon of regular Half and half... WOW good! :) YUM!  20 calories ya'all!

The cookie swells up quite large.  I put in the bottom of a porcelin or glass bowl and nuke for 20-25 seconds.. do not go longer.. DRY.  I actually almost like it not all the way done if that makes sense.  U can add SF syrup and low fat whipped cream for a really decadent dessert its a way to eat "bready" like carbs without the carbs.  I am willing to spend cals on protien/fat but no ton the carbs.. for me personally.

Yes carbs create a vicious cycle for me.. one leads to another to anther to days to days of bad eating till i get to my "uh oh" gonna see 150 and freak out and cycle down again.. its ridiculous, far easier just to not go there!  Ugh.. holidays.  Stay strong Diana, we can do this like u said!

L-chili chili with cheese and yogurt
S-another shake (I am HOOKED on them)
D-2 peices fish
S-protein bar as my DEAR husband sat here and ate CHOCOLATE
     SF hot chocolate with cool whip as the PBar just was not enough.

I am so HAPPY with day 3!!!

I am not happy you gained BUT it was nice to see someone else that Halloween kicked then in the @$$. I swear to go**** was a 3 day fat fest. I ate things I really do not like..I was sooo READY for Monday and I am sooo happy on my week:)

I dread Christmas as I bake a lot of cookies and breads. I am hoping to have a really good month before then and get what I have gained over the summer OFF and get the carbs out of my system.
We can do this!!!

Hey, that's a VERY good point!  I haven't looked at the stats to compare those fats.  You know I DO usually get in a tizzy over fats, which is good since I dump on them faster than on sweets. 

Well, if you can draw the line on protein fudge then I can too.  I will try your protein cookie recipe and see if it 'works' for me.  Am just about out of my Isopure dutch chocolate protein powder and don't know what brand to try next for a real, chocolatey fix.  I know I don't want anything that is like a dark chocolate but I do want a nice, rich taste.  May have to drive across town to the GNC where the cute manager has been nice enough to offer to let me sample proteins.  He comes to our support group meetings every so often with other samples (with his equally cute girlfriend, rats  ;) haha)  and is really supportive of us wls types. 

BTW, how many 'cookies' does that make?  Seems like it'd be a lot of calories for just one serving.  But then considering how much trouble I have controlling myself with homemade sf cookies maybe that is a good thing.   One and Done!

Hey....does she have a pumpkin spice version?  (Can't remember but guess I'll have to go check!)  One of the local drive-ins here in town always advertises a pumpin spice milkshake for their 'shake of the month' and I bet it would taste really great done up in protein for us post-ops.
