Oh Sistah...high five on the loving treats! LOL!!!
I was so busy when that cheesecake was baking that it was cracked by the time the timer rang and I worried it'd be dry. But it wasn't! I figure that must be why the recipe included a sour cream topping....to hide the cracks. Didn't stop me from adding some sf syrups for 'fun' tho....I tried a piece with sf Cinnabliss and also some sf caramel. Yummy! Next up....sf chocolate.
Looooove the Splenda website recipes! But sometimes you just want a cookbook in your hand, you know?
Better go get my day's food logged and see how I did.

I got a steal on this.. 20 bucks.
What do u think?

Have you checked-out the Splenda website??? Bet that they have a great selection!
I used to remove cheesecake from the oven and invert a large pot over it for the cool-down.It seemed to eliminate the cracks. Let me know if you've tried this technique or something similar and what happened...
Freezer = Safety Net! We sure LOVE our Treats...

Knew It... I would have been there with a fork and plate too... for the First Pie... I think that it is an actual Syndrome. Better check WebMd! Mols, Save me some Apple Pie!
Little Blip Story... I baked two apple pies many moons ago, but the Guys only saw me working on the first pie. Our #2 son missed the pie pig-out, as he was sleeping. He was amazed and confused when he saw a slice of pie on one plate and a full pie nearby. At 14, his comment was, "Ro, How did you do that?" Then the look of DUH... 2 pie**** him... and he couldn't stop laughing. I helped a little by showing him the empty Pyrex in the sink! Lots of Laughs that day!
Remember recently, when I couldn't find a "SAFE" purchase at a newly opened specialty market that I had longed to visit. Too Sweet... Too Many Sat Fats... etc. What Frustration! WE are so affected by food choices now! We have to be... Others just don't get it. They consider their comfort foods to be a "treat" for us. Clean is the way to go!!! Withya Sista!!!
OK... SIL might be into Sabotage also...

Hmmm...
Are you "bringing your 140 Lb attitude" to the PS appointment? Sure hope so!
The PS's "scanners" will checking your attitude as well as your skin elasticity! Your meds request sounds an alarm with me. I'd think that the PS would read your statement... "I like my meds the way they are and really don't want an adjustment" differently than you expect, Mel.
Just go to the appointment and leave your recent disappointments in the CAR. Be "140 Mel" !
Since it quite possible that much of your current tension will calm down soon, what impression do you want to leave on the PS? Can Do vs Can't Do... We both know that U Can Do It !!!
Ahhh... Taming! They say that Music Tames the Savage Beast, Mel... Use music as a calming source. Listen to some upbeat YouTube songs... even different versions of the same song... and include some versions that are posted by "locals" (non-professional singers). Compare the songs and singers. It's a good "activity" to get your mind off of your tensions.
You will be "mourning the loss" of the "dream job" for a while. It's only natural and human!
Personally, I think that you made the right decision and that the "dream job" would have been a
NIGHTMARE .
Have a great appointment on Tuesday, "140 Mel" ...
XOXOXO
