So Maxine is giving YOU beauty tips??? Lordy!
Good Luck shopping... I have a touch time not buying goodies...
even with a list.
Maintaining now and getting a consult sounds fine, especially since you are carrying more in the middle. My skin is the draping curtain fashion that starts under the sagging boobage... and extends down my thighs... an overall melt-down. I hope that I am able to have PS to correct my bod.
EATS
B: 2 oz Great Grains cereal, NF yogurt, Nature Valley Almond Crunch bar
L: 2.5 pork chop, 4 oz potatoes, 4 baby carrots
D: 1.5 oz pretzels, apple, 1/2 serving stuffed cabbage
S: 2 stuffed clams, 1 T Blue Bonnet spread, 2 oz 2% cheddar cheese, 1.5 oz pretzels
Calories: 1822
Carbs: 222
Fat: 65
Sat. Fat: 6
Protein: 87

Hi, Mini Me... Just a little info to brighten your day! I always eat what's served, even the snacks and desserts, at gatherings! I've eaten more calories at one party than you mentioned here. The weight drops again by just reducing the calories of the next few days Eats! Hope that you enjoyed the Party!
I still can't eat pepperoni, but put the pieces on DH or DS slice.... they love it!

Going through similar stress levels over different family issues... Family has a remote control to all of "our tick-off buttons", but co-workers have to actually press you... and they know better!
Family manners should be a requirement!
Yes, Cheesecake that is sooo good that it's worth the calorie-blip!
You'll burn it off in no time

Topic: RE: Bran muffins for Elaine

I thought it made it a little more spongy and less bready. Not the texture I like best cosidering that the bran muffins are my 'bread fix' replacement.
Next thing I am trying to wrap my brain around is how to make a bran muffin be a stand-in for turkey dressing. Don't you think it could be done by elminating the splenda, adding some sautee'd onions, celery and the typical herbs? Of course there'd be a little sweetness from the cereal itself but it might not be bad. With the nip in the weather I'm starting to crave stuffing and even though I do have that Orowheat light bread that I'll use for a SINGLE piece of toast on the weekend there is no way I trust myself with a pan of stuffing. A muffin that could be frozen and then just pulled out to have with a protein like turkey or chicken however...that could be managed.
Too crazy?

Morning!
I loooooove cooking big breakfasts on the weekend and today was my day for it. Only disappointment was that I am out of cottage cheese so no pancakes for me. Not a problem, I had other goodies to enjoy.
lots of tea already, 1 pkt. diet cocoa, coffee w/creamer
1/2 cup egg beaters, 2 maple turkey sausage links (yumm!), 1 slice Orowheat lite wheat bread toasted and 1 T lingonberry preserves. The bread thing is new for me and hopefully won't get out of control. I swore off but allowed it back when DD and I looked over the numbers on it in the store.
morning snack: chocolate bran muffin
lunch: big protein shake (chocolate...I am pms'ing!)
dinner: ?? Making stew for the guys, maybe I will have a chicken breast. Planning on making a sf apple cobbler or pie so I will have a serving of that. Also salad leftovers w/some feta thrown in to jazz it up.
prolly have an evening snack of popcorn
Gotta get eats planned for the coming week, it is going to be a very busy one!
Enjoy your lazy day!

Ack...stress eating got me yesterday and my good plan fell apart. My poor intestines are probably stuffed full. I ate what I planned and then a lot more. Did try the sf Hungry Girl pumpkin cheesecake minus the topping....it is very good and i think it will have to get frozen asap. Three pieces...bad!
MIL didn't bring the sf pie so I didn't eat any dessert at the family thing, but ate when I got home (that was one of the cheesecake pieces). Don't know why I let family stress me out worse than anything eating-wise. I think it actuallly affects me even more than work stress. Dumb.
Doing much better today!

Topic: RE: What do you use.

I keep all of them on hand because sometimes I just forget to start with the benefiber so I have the others for backup and some days when I am actually eating 'good' (my own skewed definition which means mostly all protein) it feels like I need just about all those supplements.
As for price...they know we want it and we don't have a choice but to pay their prices. It stinks!
