Not that I want to post this BUT I need to..
My eating has gotten OUT OF CONTROL and I am UP again. I honestly think part of my problem is I do not  think I can do it..I feel like I have failed and have basically given up. I need to get OVER that and realize I can do it. There are so many things I would do different and I need to start doing them NOW.  This is my first step..posting this and tomorrow I am going to start using FitDay again.
I changed my weight graph and talk about DEPRESSING!!!

Most surgeons want payment in full, the hospital and anesthesia wanted payment in full before surgery day.  What they will give you is the name to some financing places, I had a LBL after losing 142 pounds and paid 13,500 and I just had a consult for UBL (boobs, back skin and arms) and he wants 17,000 of course my insurance covers nothing. Best of Luck!!

Hi Patty!  Can't offer you any help on surgeons in your area but I second Bea's suggestion of Care Credit.  I am using that right now to pay for my dental bridge and may consider using it for PS next year when I have it paid off.  I think this is the correct address to read more about it:   www.geonlineservice.com

Good luck and sorry to hear you have to redo the mammo.  It has been more than a year since my last one and need to get in there to do it but my problem is opposite...I had reduction in 2000 and now that I've lost weight from the rny I have just about zip breast tissue left for them to see so it is hard to do and really painful to squeeze those tiny little skin flaps that pass for breasts into that machine.

Howdy gang...hope you had a great weekend.  How many got the day off today for Columbus day?  (me)  I wanted to report a patting-myself-on-the-back event today...I got my first colonoscopy.  With my family history, it was important to start screenings early and tho I am a few years past when the dr. wanted me to do it (seven!) at least I did it.

Same procedure as for an egd except for the colon cleansing.  Yuck, yuck, yuck.  And you'd think that with clean as a whistle empty intestines I'd get on the scale this morning with a fabulous weigh-in. Nope!  There must be a lot of sodium in the stuff you drink for prep cause there's no way I gained 4# by drinking clear liquids this weekend.  LOL

They removed four small and one medium polyp today and the biopsy results should be back in a week or two.  Nobody seemed concerned so I'm not worried.  Glad I had it doneand feel it was a good, proactive thing to do to take care of my good health.

Now to get rid of the headache from the liquid diet and anesthesia!

Hi, Mel... I have no idea how well a WL website will workout financially, but you can always weigh the pros and cons and get some kind of projection on Time vs Income.  Good Luck if you enter this venture.  I'm sure that people will be interested in your help!

I would offer to be an occasional Guest Speaker for the Support Group... You're input on how to get through the Holidays, dealing with others comments, etc will be valuable.  Sure that the groups: both recent post-op and those further along will have questions for you.  Also your affiliation with the Hospital's SG can only help promote any programs that you might consider starting in the future.

Hugs!

Hi, Molly... Hope that the colonoscopy went well.  I've had a few polyps removed over the years and can tell you that it is a relief to know that the little buggers didn't get a chance to "put down" serious "roots"... just benign.  Was it any different since you WLS?  I'm scheduled for another one in 1-2  years, if they don't move up my schedule (Oh, Joy!) and would like to know what to expect.

Must be a bit sad to end your gardening season... (((Hugs)))  Love that you are baking again...
Send Foodies!!!!   Christmas Present Idea for Hubby: His OWN freezer... HeHeHe

Soooo what's going on with all of your co-workers leaving?  Was it a mass lay-off?  That's what has happened at one of our local companies.  So Sad!  Are you SAFE?  Might be time to get that resume updated...  I know,  I know,  You really don't want to do it, but timing is everything.  If you company does not replace the "missing" soon, you &the Tail Bone from Hell will be burdened!

Hope that your blood sugar evens out!  You have a lot going on: Stress!
Hugs!

Heather...  Smells might be a BIG issue for you, which will affect what you can and cannot stand to eat!  Things are changing!!!   Hey, 10/7.. You had a blueberry and 10/11...You had a raspberry!
Have you checked into any of the "baby tickers" that are available?    Have you joined the Pregnancy MB yet.  Many of the moms-to-be post tickers that show the stage of their babes!

I like the name Eddie a lot... long story... is there something wrong with me? HeHeHe
So what input has DB added as far as the name game goes?  At last update, you mentioned the names that follow.  Have any been omitted or added?  Wondering what the Dec. Babes think...

Congratulations on the PS!!!  Bet you look GREAT!!!

Molly and I were discussing the "scheduling" of various procedures.  I thought that breast and TT were not usually done together.  Perhaps you can clear up the issue for us.  What "groupings" of PS are typically offered?

Any info is helpful...   I need a bit more time before I am ready for PS so I haven't really ventured to ask too many question of the PS forum gals yet...
but it's a good place to get info (neophyte lurker  to the PS MB)
