Well here we go.  I have been to I don't know how many Dr.s, been on every pain med possible and still no relief.  I have one surgeon saying surgery and another saying no.  So at the moment I am stuck.  One of the Dr.s showed me my MRI and in my lower spine I have two disks that are pretty much gone.  What I do have left of them is pushing on my spinal cord and nerves which is causing all of the irritation.  That is all I know for now.  I am going on two months of this and am going absolutely CRAZY!

My snack of choice this week has been APPLES. I bought a HUGE basket of Honey Crisp apples this week and OMG they are wonderful. I need to stay away from crunchy salty as I sooo CRAVE them.

Aye, brother told me this morning.  83 good long years.  He'll be missed.  Made me wonder about my Mr. Swayze, though. Haven't heard any updates on how he's doing, recently.

Hi Terisa and thanks!  They didn't offer me exactly what I wanted, they did increase me some but I also have an evaluation and raise coming and that would put me right about where I wanna be. So its all good.  They just don't negotiate in hospitals at all.  They have a grid they go by and they stick to it soley.  I can understand but it can be rather frustrating.  Considering yes I will have my weekends off now but I will be working 5 days a week instead of 2, driving more, MUCH more responsibility etc.. but I am glad I took it and welcome the challenge.  This sounds so bad but I don't want someone in there that hasn't been there before, such an injustice.  We NEED bariatric patients as nurses in these roles, I do believe.  It gives the patients more trust in their caregivers.  I did accept it, yes. :)
