Great to hear from you!

You look terrific, I eat quite a bit to maintain my weight.  If I ate 1200 cals everyday like most do (women after RNY) id be very thin.  Saw PS yesterday.. he said maintain at 140 as I have 10-15 lbs of skin, I was shocked!

I don't hate you one bit, we all have our problems in different ways.

Helllllo Gang!!!

How's it going everyone?  Amy sounds ready for halloween and CHRISTMAS.. wow it is soon isn't it?  I can't believe its almost winter again!!!  Life goes by so fast doesn't it?

I have had a lot happen in the past week so I thought I would bring you up to speed again.  Sorry I make my presence then I disappear, life is so busy for me, really..

Not only did I get a first interview, I got a second interview for the Bariatric Coordinator job!  I interviewed with the head doc in charge or the project and director of all outpatient clinics.  She happens to my family physician who has also had RNY ; )  It went terrific.. she is such an awesome lady!  This position is going to be very intense yet a great challenge for whoever gets it.  I sat tonight and realized again how I will be spending more money in gas if I get this job and it will have 2 seminars and 1 support group I will have to do a month outside my normal hours plus drive in the winter and not be able to stay home with my kids during the week like I could now.  So my husband and I talkeda bout figures and I would have to be raised up about 8-10k to make it worth it so that may also be an issue but if I do get offered and I do accept it I need to be compensated for any losses I would encounter money wise. 

Also, I had my plastic surgery consult.  PS says lower body lift for me for sure.  He suspects I have 10-15 lbs of extra skin and said I would be one of his most dramatic cases.  He says I have no breast tissue left (duh, I knew that!) and we talked about arms and boobs.  I would need it all done to take care of all the side skin issues I have (which I guess is more than most).  So a lot of work ahead of me if I want that.

So huband and I are waiting to see what happens with this job... will i end up changing my schedule from working 2 days a week only weekends to 5 days a week with weekends off and days instead of nights? lol.. what a difference, also PS submitted my photos and claim to insurance to see if they would pay for the panni portion but I don't have 6 months of documented rashes.. so that will probably get me denied as they want that.

So lots to think about.. we need to discuss kids too but waiting to see what happens with everything else.. its an exciting yet nerve wracking time all at once! :)

Yes, we are going to paint among a "few" other things....it should be fun, and frustating at the same time..Wanna do so much but only have so little $$$$$ to spend. I will take it one day at the time.
