Topic: RE: Anybody else not sleeping?

Yum!  I love diet hot cocoa at night but my husband always gives me flak about it saying how it is going to keep me awake.  You know, there is VERY little caffiene in chocolate and certainly probl. a microscopic amount in hot cocoa mix.

I don't know any good hypnotists but if I had the money to shell out I think I'd just go into regular old therapy instead, apparently surveys show that it is as effective as sleep aids.  Gotta be the depression factor, I think.

So a report on last night:  tried 2 new over the counter sleep aids.  One is billed as being an anti-anxiety aid and the other for going to sleep.  One of them or the combo of them has kept me so d*mn groggy today that it just isn't worth it.  I did get 7 hrs. sleep and woke up twice in the night.  You now what really woke me up finally today (well, at least temporarily...) a flat tire on the way to work.  LOL!

God bless the wonderful driver who pulled alongside of me, honked and pointed at my back tire to let me know I was driving on a flat.  At least it wasn't on the rim yet and didn't damage the tire.  Seems I picked up a screw somewhere recently and developed a slow leak.

Think I will set my cell phone alarm and try to take a mini nap.  Afraid to sleep too much but I'm so beat after all that car stress today.  How silly is that, too?  Car stuff just throws me for a loop and I really should be much more grownup than that.

Hope you are having a nice day.  We are having awesome weather today...so pretty!

Lordy, I wish my sweets cravings were just mini.  My brain seems to think that is the number one food group. LOL  If the world's supply of Splenda was suddenly gone I'd probably go into a coma from withdrawals.

You wanna know gum torture....stocking the absolutely FRESH boxes of gum that go up by my store's front registers.  Oh, so fragrant and *how* it makes me miss gum!  But I gave it up in '99 with my first weight loss surgery and haven't gone back since.  I used to always, always swallow my gum and know that I just couldn't trust myself not to go right back to that.

We all get told not to chew gum and how it can get stuck in the stoma yadda, yadda but honestly I've never read a post here from anybody who got it stuck ad had to have it pulled out, have you?

i did not buy much...i really am unhappy with the size of my behind and refuse to buy anything new...i did find a couple new tops to go with the pants i ALREADY have .....(.....size 4...)

I cannot believe how much everyone likes trail mix and how bad it is for us....it is the worst kind of bad for us....it is disguised as something that is healthy for us....RATS.....first clue should have been that it tastes so good.....(has to be bad).
Have a good rest of Tuesday all...I will see you all at the wednesday weigh in.
