You can do it! My big challenge is now that I'm not pregnant, I have to wean myself off of drinking while eating. It wasn't an option when I was pregnant. I stayed so thirsty, I was drinking constantly.
But I've noticed the last 2 days, that my surgery is already starting to try to kick in. Can't eat as much as I could while pregnant, and I've started with really, really BAD gas pains if I eat too much.
Now it's learning the cues of being full again, because the baby overrode all that for 9 months. Literally, was always hungry, and just like never having surgery, could eat bigger portions and drink (even caffienated/carbonated drinks) with no pouch discomfort.
So, in a few weeks, once the body has recovered from delivery, I'll be on the bandwagon with you all, trying to pull back off 30 lbs!

I think it was the shock, Beatrice. The "plan" didn't go anything by what me and the hubby even remotely had discussed, so we just went with the flow. The only part that we had planned and went according to discussion was our bags were in the Durango, and her car seat. LOL
Ray even had to run out to the truck once she was born, to get the camera to take pictures. We didn't even get to notify his parents we were headed to L&D or that I was in labor. Mom got the call at 9:23 to tell her that they were grandparents.

Welcome back and congratulations on finding Michael....Yes, you can be a size 14, it's hard but it takes lots of determination and hard work but it can be done. Go back to doing things they way you used to do them right after surgery and everything will fall into place eaily.

I have been wondering how you are doing. I need to get back with it. I have made some very POOR choices which I thought I would never make food wise..You can do this..we still have the tool. We just need to use it WISELY!!!

Well peeps i see I am not the only one with a new person in my life (Heather congrats on your little person I love the name Caitlin I always wanted to name my daughter that) well my new person is almost 6ft tall and bald and he is very sweet we have been dating for almost 6 months on the 4th of June and I love him so much his name is Michael and things could be serious soon and of course i would like to finish losing this weight once and for all i would like to get down 
to a size 14 at least by the endof the year does anyone think i'm being unrealistic i hope not any
