Melissa was a trainwreck this AM (Wednesday) with fever, naseua, & lots of pain. This afternoon was a bit better as they gave her some stuff to get the pain down a bit. She still has some pain (as expected) & also is running a slight fever. We'll see what tomorrow brings during "moving day" as she goes back home.

Will do. I haven't even gotten to talk to her yet...just her hubby.

Just talked to her hubby. Right now, Melissa is in a world of hurt...lots of pain, running a 101 temp, and nauseas. Doubtful that she'd go home today as hoped. Just keeping you all in the loop.

Hey all -

Melissa just got out of surgery about 45 minutes ago. She was in there for nearly 7 hours. Just heard from the Doc and all went great. In fact, he said that it went better than expected as he was able to get everything done with less cuts than expected. He removed around 7 pounds of fat from her when doing the LBL. He also said that it doesn't sound like much, but fat doesn't weigh much at all and that it was a lot. Doc says she looks like a brand new person and was ecstatic with her results.

Right now we are waiting for her to get out of the recovery room and we'll go and see her here in the next hour. Just wanted to keep you all updated and thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, calls, e-mails, etc. I know Melissa appreciates it.
