Wendi, It looks like we might be roomies. I too am having my surgery on the 28th at Alexian Brothers. Dr Rantis is performing mine.

That's so funny. I just posted the same question! Well I pretty much have the same question as you. At this point I am currently enrolled in a manditory Educational Class that is 6 months long. We meet twice a month and per the instructor that is pretty much all that needs to be done other than the normal testing. I just want to know how long after the class will I be notified in regards to a schedule date for the operation. Have you already seen your primary doctor? All I know is that I went to see my doctor about 4 months ago and she immediately sent in the referal for the classes. Good Luck!

WOW! Congrats. I'm having RYN a week from today and infertility was abig factor into my decision. My surgeon told me that any risks after having either of these surgery's is much less than being overweight and having a baby. Good luck with it all!
