I have 48 hours to go, and I am trying like a mad woman to accomplish everything on my to do list. Tomorrow, I get to do the prep stuff...Good luck to all of you who are tomorrow....Save room on the loser's bench for me.

Merry Christmas everyone! Does anyone have Aetna insurance? If so what requirements do they require before surgery?

I am 3 days post op and in the same place with you! It has to be all in our mind because my stomach still feels sooooo bloated! I thought yesterday that I needed something to eat so I licked a ice cream. That didn't stay down for 3 minutes. Back to liquids. I did get some jello salad down this morning. You know the jello/cool whip mixture. It felt like food, tasted great, but I still thinks it falls in this liquid diets thing! Stay strong. WE HAVE TO DO IT! Drink and be merry !!! LOL. We are here for you!

Hijack!! Hi Maureen. You really did stay a bit didn't you. I was sent home the next day. We had our surgeries the same day on the 17th. I was in my own bed by the 18th. I'm down 12lbs , same as you. What are you eating/sipping on. I don't like the protein that I have. I bought a box of isopure sampler and every flavor I try makes me want to gag!! GNC has protein shots but they are just as nasty!! I'm ready to eat meat!! I know it's soooo sad I'm just ready to get this show on the road. Take care and Merry CHRISTmas!

hey genisis! i am SO happy for you! i have not weighed myself but, tomorrow i go for a check up and i cant WAIT for them to weigh me! i am glad you are feeling good. i had a couple hiccups w/surgery but, i am doing good now.. everyday is better and better. keep me posted on your progress!!! i will do the same. jamie
