You are getting rid of protein shakes! Wow! I still semi-regularly drink them and I am 4 years out from surgery. They are a great way to keep your protein levels up so you do not get carb cravings. I mix one with a frozen banana, some hemp seed or chia seeds and that is so filling, low cal, low fat and high protein! AH well, too each his own; I wish I was in your province...I would have scooped them!!! lol
I am also interested in revision. I had a gastroplasty done in 1986. Lost 120 lbs. Kept it off for 12 years. Went thru crappy divorce. Met wonderful man, ate out a lot enjoyed wine with meals, quit smoking, gained it all back over 5 or 6 years. Went to dr. Noir and was told no revision. I have been researching and am booked to go to mexico in march. Will either revise to sleeve or gastric bypass. They say it might not be possible to revise the old stomach stapling to sleeve. Any body else in calgaryghad revision from old ggastroplasty? Personal email [email protected]
Did you get the bypass in mexico yet?
I have booked for revision march 24 wondering how it was?
I would also love to meet up for coffee, chats or walks!
Let me know if something would work for you.
I am free some evenings and can usually be fairly free on the weekend.
Everyone is welcome! I am in the NW but would be happy to meet in a central place.
Folks: Here is an updated schedule that now includes September-December dates.
We are meeting at the Tim Horton's on the northside by the Walmart at 7pm. Anyone who wants to meet us to chat, you are most welcome!
