just checking in. I got my date today whoooo!! My surgery is 13 days away Nov 26.. I'm nervous but so excited. Hope you all get your dates soon :)

My surgery was on Sept 12 and I was supposed to be out on the 14th but I ended up with a infection and they kept me in until the 16th :0). Make sure you get up and move it will help with your recovery :)

July 10th was my appt with the Dr and when they officially crossed me over to the weight list.  

I got a call last week bumping my surgery to December 23rd.  Someone else I know with the RDC also had that done to them.  I hope it's not common but I fear it is.

Sigh :(

I know several people that had been approved in April and are still waiting for a call. Usually you find out the month before. The booking are usually done around the first week of the month unless you get called on a cancelation. December they do fewer surgeries because of Christmas Holidays.

When my friend phoned Doctor Birches office she was told probably February. If Dr. Birch is you surgeon you could call his direct office and talk to his secretary, the weight wise clinic doesn't book your actual surgery so they wouldn't know. You have to call them and let them know when your surgery date is.
