Best Wishes to you! :)
Keep us all posted on how things go for you. IT will be here before you know it!
Hi Velma,
Thanks for the post. I am happy that you have had a wonderful experience so far. I feel confident that Dr Louisiana Venezuela in Tijuana is the doctor for me. I was fortunate to speak directly with 3 of her patients. All reports about her were positive. In fact The Mexico Bariatric Clinic rated as being one of the TOP facilities in Mx for the surgery. I also appreciate that everyone has their own opinion and have made a well informed decision for themselves. Lots of folks weighed in on their thoughts on doctors, hospitals etc to gas pain. It ALL helped me make my decisions. So Thank you to everyone who posted to me.
My coordinator has been amazing. She makes me feel safe and secure. Its nice to have someone who cares . She also had surgery and Dr V was her doctor.
I will close for now. Be well and talk soon

~ chuckles at the bottle washer comment ~ Hi Kelly- Anne,
Thanks for posting regarding questions I may have
If you don't mind I will keep in touch with you. Like I keep repeating I need to connect and stay "real" with other folks that have had the surgery and are now in the maintenance stage. I appreciate every post, blog that I read here on this site.
I said to my doctor its a wonderful feeling to connect with people that I can physically get together with in the future ( was never one for on line relationships ) lol
Okay Kelly Anne, I am off . Have a great weekend and talk soon

Hello to All,
I wanted to thank those that wrote back to me with their own stories from heading south to Mx. for surgery. Since I last posted I booked my surgery for Nov 7th ~ does a happy happy dance ~ lol I feel such an overwhelming relief that it makes me quite emotional at times.. Beside being morbidly obese, I have to have my right hip replaced. Walking sitting sleeping breathing is all done in pain. That being said , No Doctor in his right mind would willing operate on some one like myself with a BMI of 52. So , that being said once I lose even half the weight I will be able to then have the surgery. It will be a year wait anyway for the surgery. . ~ shaking head ~ Canadians politician crow that we have this amazing care system. Well perhaps THEY do , but the rest of us have to wait years for surgeries that determine our quality of life !! It makes me mad to be honest !! Okay, theres my rant ~ smiles ~
I always enjoying reading everyone's post, Have a great weekend and talk soon
