I have asked my nurse about 3 months ago and two meeting ago and she has yet to produce anything so i thought i would try here. I appreciate your response but the fact you feel its dangerous is absurd. How could exchanging emails, texts or a phone conversation be dangerous. After speaking with someone and if it led to a coffee meeting at a local coffee shop then that would also be great. I am just looking to speak to people for a first hand account of there experience before i choose to move forward. I know if i do do the surgery i will always be there to pay forward my experience to others so i can help the world get healthier.

I believe I saw a sign at the clinic that said they would introduce you to someone if you wanted to talk to someone who has had the surgery. Doing it this way just seems dangerous.
Hello,
I am about 6 months into my Weightwise clinic experience and they are hoping i will make a decision re surgery within the next couple months. I am a 31 year old male and a BMI above 50. I have no other health concerns or conditions just my excess weight. I am open to speak to anyone about there surgical experience especially if they are in the same age range. I don't care if male or female. I would prefer to meet for coffee in person to talk but would also entertain phone calls, texts or emails. Please let me know if you are willing to talk further. Thanks.
Ryan

Years ago when I first found oh the forums were all happening but it's died down a lot. I tend to not drop by as often as I use to and when I do I browse all the forums. I try all my might to answer question and be encouraging to others that post. There is a lot of useful info on all the sites.

I think a lot of people look but aren't posting. My feeling is that there are more people to respond when I ask a question on the other forums. Also, there are way more people in Ontario.
What's the deal? The Alberta forum is like a creepy ghost town. And the Ontario one is like the popular club all the kids are going to ;). Are their doctors referring them to the site? Did they find it on their own? Or is it just a matter of if its active more people check it and then it snowballs? It makes me sad that ours isn't as good as the centre of the universe hahaha

My friend just got back from having a full body makeover in Cancun including lipo, butt life, breast lift and implants for $9000 USD. No complications and great service.
I have a low BMI at 35%. I believe that I am going in to see Dr. Debru regarding a Lap Band. I have been doing so much research on the band vs sleeve and would like to have the sleeve done. Just wondering if Dr. Debru does the sleeve or just the band?
Hello BJ.
I have an appointment with Dr. Debru regarding my surgery. My question is… Do you know if Dr. Debru preforms the vertical sleeve procedure as well as lapbands? Thanks for any info :)
