Topic: RE: panni surgery in one week

I wore my binder for 2 weeks...it did give great support. I then work my spanx for another 2 weeks just to give a little added support. I stopped after 4 weeks and I feel great and the swelling is minimal.

I haven't started any abdomin exercises yet and will probaly wait till 6 weeks but that is my own doing. I feel great and my stomach looks great.

Just got my panni done leaving hospital today, drain out. Dr said wear binder if u like. He doesn't feel it makes much of a difference other than your own support. Staples out 2 weeks from surgery date. It's curious why all doctors opinions can be so different.

Hey Ladies. I am from Fort Mac and just got sleeved last Saturday. I'm really not sure where I can get Bariatric vitamins in town. Any help would be appreciated.

HI Dianne,

I am in Fort Mac too.

Congrats on your surgery.  How are you feeling?

I use muscle milk (lite) is best.  You can get pre-mixed and the powder at the new Sangsters & at the Petrocan in Timberlea.

I am taking a break from the smoothies with the powder right now.

Well its been 3 weeks since my panni and everything has healed very nice. I'm very pleased with the results done by Dr. deGara.

Topic: Plastic Surgery

Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon in Alberta?  I'm still a ways away but researching.  I will have my tummy done and a thigh lift for sure.  Would like my arms and breasts done and a face lift and and and but I really don't need all that stuff.  My thighs bother me the most and seeing AB covers the tummy I'm going for it lol.
