Going Outside for Surgery

Howdy fellow Alaskans, I am 14 months post op Duodenal Switch. I've gone from a BMI of 53 to 29. I am scheduled for a hernia repair/tummy tuck next month (February 2004) in Anchorage. I would like to offer my support and encouragement to those people that find themselves travelling for weight loss surgery. I had my surgery in California, that was hard for an Alaskan!
