First roadblock

Always seems there are complications, doesn't it? * Realize I need help * Do the research * Make the decision * Find out my insurance doesn't cover weight loss surgeries... Oh well, not going to give up.. They say that nothing worthwhile is ever easy... That seems to be the case here...

I'm so sorry.  Please don't give up.  We're here for you.  Please don't let this stop you from posting. 

I m so sorry you have hit a roadblock.  Whats wrong with these insurance companies?  Dont they understand if they paid for WLS that we wouldnt have to spend so much money at the dr for obesity problems.    Keep your chin up.  You will work something out.

Insurance companies WANT you to give up, so don't!!  When I first went for a consult, I found out my insurance didn't cover it either.  October was just around the corner, I switched companies, had surgery in February!    Lots of surgeons offer self-pay options - payment plans, care credit, etc. Check into all of those.  YOU ARE WORTH IT!
