I guess I am not very smart....

can anyone explain to me why educated people act so badly???  I guess I am just dumb, but I don't get it.  I was thrilled at the turnout yesterday.  I have a mixed family politically.  I prayed and voted my heart.  I told my children to do the same.  They did.  I did not try to influence anyone in their choice.  However, this morning I have heard some very hateful things said on my job, at the courthouse, and other places, even on the radio.  What is wrong with us???  We are suppose to be ONE people and LOVE each other.  This is truly breaking my heart.  I love you all and I love this country, but most of all, I love my Lord.  He has and will continue to be Lord.  If I have offended anyone, I do apologize, but I just don't understand all of the hate.  Love you!!!!

How did "your lord" feel about the six million Jews who were slaughtered by the Nazis?

Oh, I fogot, they were "Christ killers" so who cares, right?

There is only 1 Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ.  He is in control and we can not help what happened years ago it is not our fault.  My son use to cry about the way people were treated way back when and he felt some blame, but he is not blame and I told him that.  I love everyone just the same.  Doesn't matter what color or what religion.  We all came from the same place.

Those people that did those horrible sinful things to the babies and all of the people that were injured or killed let the devil take control of their lives.  I was just saying a prayer that I would like to share with you.  Of course HE cared, but the Nazis didn't care and didn't believe that is why the devil took control.  You have to believe in Jesus Christ our Savior  for him to take control of your life. He loves you and he died for you.  Let me share this awesome prayer to you if you don't mind.

But I thought you guys kept blathering on about how "god/our lord, etc" was in charge and controlled all things.

Doncha think it's alittle convenient to attribute any kind of bad **** to "the devil" while you're guy seems to sit around with his thumb up his ass?

Only the person can believe, we can't make anyone believe.  When people surrender and let Jesus in their heart and believe it is then that God will take control.  If you let the devil control who you are then how can anyone stop that?  God is powerful and if you believe in the Almighty God he will protect you.  The devil will still try to creep in and get a hold of you, but only if you let the devil.  If you believe that God is in control then God is in control.  Obviously those people way back then let the devil in and they let the devil take control of their lives.  It is not my fault, it is not your fault, it is the fault of those people and the devil.  All you have to do is give your heart to God and he will do the rest.

Plenty of the Jews who were slaughtered were fervent believers.

So tell me then, where, exactly was your "very powerful" "god?"

He was with the Jews and everyone else who has been mudered or died.  He carried them to whereever they believed they were to go.  The devil was with the Nazis.  The devil had control of the Nazis.  God loves everyone. You have every right to believe what you believe.   I respect you for that.  All I ask is that you respect me for that.  If you ask a question I will answer.
