I love you Carmen!  Keep your head up my friend.  God is in control of everything.  I see it as History has been made in the Political Realm, and Prophecy has been fulfilled in the Spiritual Realm.  We have our first African American as President and I think that is an awesome accomplishment.  I WILL pray for Obama because of what he is coming into and he will be our leader.  We also see the bible being fulfilled as in Matthew 24.  you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. God IS in control and He said that EVERY knee shall bow and declare Him as Lord.  Someday!  My heart is so heavy today.  NOT because of the election outcome, but because of words said on this board today.  This should be a time of excitement to EVERYONE.  Christians and Non-Christians.  You know what I mean?  I know you do, but that was in general.....LOL

I have never posted on this board before  as a matter of fact this is my first time even coming to this bored but as a a christian, an alabamian, and an african american i have to say thank you for saying this. Today has been monumental for ALL Americans. no matter what color, creed, religion. the fact of the Matter is no matter how we voted this was all ready written! the out come of this election was definately his PERFECT will. and it also breaks my heart that in 2008 when we are finally finding a place to meet for unity that people are still looking for reasons to spew hatred. Its time out for that now. there are so many other important things in life to come together on. WHy waste the energy it takes to hate someone?  just felt like i needed to say something. God bless

Is that some type of requirement???  Is this freakin' CHURCH????  It is not, and the "god this," "Jesus that" crap gets REAL old to those of us that think it's just silly superstition.  Is this not a WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY forum for ALL beliefs?
