Medicare (Anyone else still waiting?)

Just wondering if we had anyone else on the board still waiting for surgery? Now Baptist can take medicare patients again, and Dr Baker and Dr Gibbs are listed on the surgical review site (www.surgicalreview.org). Dr Wellborn isn't listed and his wife says they don't know how long it will be, they still have to have the office site inspection and it could be a while, so I have switched to Dr Baker. I have been waiting for so long and now I am getting even closer.

Eveylyn, you are so close, just hang in there and soon you will be on the other side. Just stay proactive in your journey so you don't fall through the cracks. I'm sure that once they start taking the medicare patients, their scheduled surgery days for medicare patients will fill quickly, so stay after them, in a nice way. Good luck.

I am actually waiting on a surgery date w/Dr. Baker. I really liked him from the seminar that I attended. I cant wait to hear a date, I think all will know, I'll be shouting from the roof tops!!!!! Rhonda

I don't have Medicare, but my surgery is scheduled for the 19th at Baptist with Dr. Gibbs. Hope you get a date soon and we'll be LOSERS! Take care, Denise
