Medicaid Question

Hello everyone, I have a question about Medicaid. I am trying to get everything together to send to Medicaid for approval. Medicaid requires a sphyciatic evaluation but will not pay for it. Has anyone gotten help paying for this evaluation. Can anyone me. Thanks Char

I have ohio medicaid, and they also require a psych eval. the problem is in the fact that medicaid doesn't pay for visits to a psychologist, only a psychiatrist(sp) . Is that the problem in your state? it was only a matter of finding one with an opening that accepted medicaid

Some psychologist have sliding scale fees. I live in Pocahontas, AR and we have one here. It is called something like Midsouth Health. It is about an hour from Jonesboro. If you want the number just let me know. (they may be listed in your phone book) troy
