Help!!

Hi, I have just joined the message board. I need to have WLS and have no idea of how to get this started. I want BCMSP to cover it which I believe means going to the States. If I am going to do the American way what do I need to do? Does my Doctor here need to participate in the process? Any information & or advise you could give me to start my journey will be most helpful. Sarah
