Happy TGIF to all of CAli

  Good Morning Cali and a happy TGIF to all of you!    I know this afternoon cannot come quick enough for me. I know I have posted that I am having some real issues at work....well it took a turn for the worse yesterday and I have to face a firing squad after lunch today....keep me in your thoughts...and they wonder why some people go postal (sorry if any of you are postal workers...bad term in a way). Although that would not be an option...sometimes you cannot help thinking bad thoughts!   Seriousy I do not ever ask for a lot (at least I do not think so) but please keep my in good thoughts. So on to brighter things.....OMG you guys are the best really!! I truly do love coming here and readng about all the successes.....like both HeatherMAc and DeAnna both having BMI's under 40.....remember how excited we long term post ops were when that happened? Cool stuff! Anabelle aka LadyBug is home from surgery!!! YAY!!! Okay double YAY!!!   Jodi...I sure hope that you get out this weekend...even if it is just in your yard and soak up some wonderful sunshine...it really is supposed to be a lovely weekend and more sunshine longer too! Lisa B....so happy that you are able to have a bit of slack at your work that you can do things like cut away and have sometime with a friend. I cannot believe also you have a daughter who is going to be 16.....YIKES!!! I do not know her, but wish her a Happy Birthday for me!! Also I am happy that you got a good SP...not everyone did unfortunately. Speaking of birthdays...I know that there is going to e a birthday bash tonight for no other one than the one and only CELEST!!!!! I know you all are going to be having a super time....and SueBEEEEEEEEEEEEE what a friend you are for taking care of the gal!!! Happy Birthday to you Celest!!!!   Jill you know sometimes I think were is the equitity. It really suck when you know what a position or responsibility you have and you are not valued for it whether it is monetary or not....really great for the ego...NOT! Good on you too for dropping the weight and the heck with WWW. A good positive and a sign of something going in the right direction!!! Chris and Jean both got to be pool bunnies yesterday! I am jealous!! My pool is still too cold and it will probably be until May before it is actually warm enough to be comfortable to go in...yeah even here in the desert! And Jean....did you ever think in a millon years that you would have to get a ring sized that was a pinky for another finger! I think that is way too cool!!!! Sue I am thinking Sammi is the cooles****ching a Hello Kitty movie....tell her she ROCKS!!!!! Hope you are having fun visiting with your friend too! I am excited to know that in a few weeks my friend from Georgia is coming on my spring break. I have not seen her in close to 10 years and we have known each other since she was 15 and I was 16....we are both in our 50's now! Lori C....I sure hope that your pops is healing and know that me and a lot of others are praying for him. Shells....I cannot believe you got off the coffee....I am impressed! I did it once..OMG I had a super bad headache for 3 weeks or so and if I had to do it now....I would be in deep doo doo! I hope that the headache stuff passes quickly!!! Kristine I know you, Lisa, Jodi, Jean and huge BB fans...I have never watched it....me thinks I am going to have to tune into it sometime and see what is going on. I can hardly wait for Dancing with the Stars again....so I can understand the attraction or like Jean says the addiction!!! My TV had better be fixed by then!!!    Kim you knitter girl...I bet you are just awesome!!! I learne how to knit when I was young, but I never kept up with it! I bet it is really relaxing for you and rewarding in a lot of ways! You go girl!!! Oh and Kim....thank you for being such an understanding person yesterday. I really wanted to meet with you, but you know why I did not....would have been a super downer. Once I pull myself together, we will meet......next week okay? And Vicki....you did an outstanding job on your art project and I like they way you explained your choices for the project. I am glad I was able to help you!!!   So what is on everyone's agenda for the weekend? Soaking up sunshine I am sure!!! We spring forward so that means that there will be no excuse not to take stroll after work or feel in some ways to have more time during the day...I know all an illusion really, but the mind gets tricked! So come on...let's hear it...whatcha got going? Whatever you do today....make it a bright one and think positive!!! PEACE OUT!!!  

Good Morning Janine  and the morning team I'm so sorry that you are going through so much crap at work. It's just not fair. Hang strong my friend. You will be in my thoughts and prayers today. Sending you positive vibes today to help you battle the people and come out on top. Again Thanks for the shout out and the wonderful run down for the week. As for me doing anything this weekend, Well I will be lucky if I get to the front door. I'm just so upset with my weight that I don't even want to be seen by even a stray neighbor or total stranger driving down the street. That's why I don't even go anywhere near the front door. Homeless again...but life moves on! The motor home...That I called home the last almost 2 years now...is almost sold...I'm taking a large loss...but again life goes on! I have my health and happiness and a lot of supportive friends. I'm back to working 60 hour weeks so don't have a lot of extra time to visit or post. I do think about the Cali crew and read the posts when I can....so keep up the good work guys. Darrol

Morning! What is on my agenda for today....well, I am going to head out to Mervyn's after taking the kids to school and try to find something for when Mikey's comes home.. They had a really cute pic of an outfit in their ad the other day and I want to check it out.  Also going to try to find some swimsuits for my kids for our trip to San Diego- my sis will be taking them to the beach. I also want to get over to Costco this weekend because they have a really awesome stereo system that is on sale for $120 and I want to get it as an early bday present for me. Other than that, my oldest has a party to go to on Saturday night and I will be hanging with the two little ones.  I would like to think that I will be able to sleep past 6...but, I KNOW it ain't gonna happen...especially with the time change!  Maybe we will get out and drive to the Blossom Trails, if I am feeling so inclined. Well, off to drag the oldest outta bed....I think I am going to have to threaten chinese water torture for that to happen!! Thanks again for all your help Janine- if it wasnt for your help, I honestly don't think I could have done it as well.  (BTW- Mike gave me an A+) haaaa haa Later!

Hi Everyone, Janine- I am so sorry that you are having problems at work.  It sucks to have  problems at the job.  I know how you feel.  Sending good thoughts and prayers out to you.  It is bad to have a job that you love but difficult superiors. Cali Crew- I just found out that my brother is in the hospital for consistent low blood sugar to the point of being delirious.  The hospital staff is especially concerned because he had a kidney transplant a few years ago and they don't want it to fail on him.  I got the first call at 1:30 this morning telling me that Bro was in the ER.  I got the second call at 6:37 this morning saying that they had admitted him and his condition was the same. My SIL asked if would I mind if my sister Katrina would pick me up.  (Katrina and I don't get along at all and I haven't spoken to her in several years.)  At first I told my SIL that I would call her back; after 20 mins., I called my SIL back to tell her to call my sister to come pick me up at around 9:30 this morning.  Another thing is that I will be stuck out there until Sunday.  I felt like that I needed to put aside whatever feelings I have towards my sister and go see about my brother.  Pray for me.  I have to endure the company of someone that I don't particulary (sp) like for about 2 days. Kim.. I am so sorry that you are going through this with your brother.. I agree.. putting hard feelings aside for a couple days for your brother's sake may be a good idea!!  I will be keeping your brother in my prayers and you as well.. for the uncomfortable situations will have to endure out of love for your brother...   (((HUGS)))
