What are you thankful for?
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a safe journey
GREAT family that took myself and the kids out for pizza yesterday to have a pizza party for my bday. Yes, it was party number 4...I am so spoiled. I got some very thoughtful gifts, including a day trip to a local spa to be pampered. I am so friggin lucky!
My kids, that continue to be a great source of amusement and joy for me and my family.
Losing some unwanted LBS- nice surprise. Havent been snacking and it makes a big difference!
Got in early with my PCP on Friday so that I can start the process of seeing an Orthosurgeon this time around and I am very hopeful that I will be able to get some help with my back issues. I am hoping that I can get into to see him while Mike is home, so that he can go with me and get the scoop straight from the horses mouth, as it were!
8 year anniversary of becoming a civilian again. I know that any former veterans out there can kind of sympathize with me on that..... I had every intention of being a career Sailor, but that wasnt in the cards. And while I do miss being "in" somedays, I am ever so thankful that I have the ability to stay at home with my kids and help them to become great little individuals.
Oh hey....and did I mention that MIKE IS COMING HOME??? tee hee. It will be one of those bittersweet things, as he will only be here for two weeks- however, depending on how things go with the orthosurgeon, that could very well change.
Okie dokie kids- like I said, share or not- but at least take a moment or two to reflect on what YOU are thankful for!!
Have a fantastic Monday!!

HI VICKI ![]()
FIRST OF ALL, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU. ALSO WOW HUBBY'S COMING HOME TO YOU.
HEY DON'T THINK ABOUT HIM LEAVING OR ELSE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE TIME YOU HAVE TOGETHER. JUST ENJOY EVERY SECOND THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO TOUCH HIS HANDS, ARMS, BODY, AND KISS HIM AND LOOK INTO HIS EYES, AMOUNG ALL THE OTHER DETAILS THAT DO NOT NEED TO BE EXPLAINED TO YOU BEING THAT YOU ARE A MOM AND A WIFE.
JUST KNOW THAT FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS YOU WILL BE IN HEAVEN WITH YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY TOGETHER,HAPPY,SAFE, AND TICKLED PINK. DON'T THINK ABOUT THE END OF THIS WONDERFUL JOURNEY, JUST LIVE AND LOVE FOR THE MOMENTS YOU HAVE FOR NOW.
I AM THANKFUL TO MIKE FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES FOR US. AND PROUD TO KNOW YOU AND HOW STRONG YOU ARE TO ENDURE EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO AS A MOTHER AND A WIFE WHILE MIKE IS AWAY.
I WILL BE SAYING PRAYERS FOR MIKE,YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN THAT EVERYTHING BE AS PERFECT AS IT CAN BE, TILL HE COMES MARCHING HOME AGAIN FOR GOOD.
I AM ALSO THANKFUL FOR THE BEST 2 WEEKS THAT I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. EVEN WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS I HAVE BEEN MENTALLY HAPPY, SO HAPPY AND I HOPE IT NEVER ENDS.
TAKE CARE VICKI AND ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY AND HAVE AN EVER BETTER TOMORROW.
I'm STILL thankful that I'm a mom...and that had it not been for this surgery I'd still be childless.
So...let's hope the fertility continues and we can make that little girl of mine a big sister...

I am thankful for my children who bring a smile to my face everyday.
I am thankful for this surgery that has made things so much better in my life.
I am thankful for the carefree time I just had at Disneyland. I didn't have to worry about what I wouldn't fit on!
I'm thankful for myself, and this learning process of getting comfortable in my new skin.
Thanks,
Stephanie
