I finally got my date!

I have been on my WLS journey since 7/20/07.  On Monday, 4/21/08 I saw Liz the Case Manager and she gave me my surgery date.  MY REAL LIFE SURGERY DATE!!  WOW!

 

I will be having RNY Gastric Bypas at Kaiser Richmond on 5/5/08 with Dr. Baggs.

 YEY!!!!! I am so happy.  I was not sure if I was ever going to get to have the surgery.  Because of how long my journey has been I started to feel like I was just wasting my time.  I THANK GOD that I did not give up.

So, I will be on the official "LOOSER'S BENCH" as of 5/5/08.

Thank you all for so much support.  I could not have gotten this far without this site and the people who post on it.  So - THANKS!
