Happy VERY hot Friday to the Cali Crew! It was miserable here yesterday.  I am already showing it to be 107 and it is only 8 am.  I keep telling myself next summer I will be 100's of pounds lighter and maybe just maybe this heat will not bother me as much.   It is just too darn hot.  Plus, most of the families I work with don't have air-conditioning or can't afford it.  Shoot, I can't afford it.  LOL.  Anyhoo, have a great Friday. It's hot OUT there so I'm glad I'm in here all cool with the AC, lol.  But as they say TGIF yeah baby!!  Let's see tonight I'm going out to dinner with my honey, then maybe a movie.  Saturday I'll be getting up nice and early and do some walking outside before it gets hot, maybe some beach time, who knows....then off to a comedy club with some girlfriends.  Sunday is church and softball. Good Morning Cali Crew, Tonight I am going to pick up some chicken sausages for the 4th. Tommorrow, I have a date with Roy (the older gentleman).  I know he wants to see a movie. Sunday, I am going to a church musical in Santa Monica.  Afterwards,  I might have a date with Jeffery (pastry chef). This morning around 3am, I woke to a bunch of coughing, because I was too hot. I coughed so much that I could not go back to sleep.  Got to buy a fan for my bedroom.  I got up, threw on some clothes and walked to Rite Aid to buy some cough syrup.  I feel a lot better now.  Everyone, have a great day and a better weekend. Good Morning to Everyone!  We've been very blessed way up north here to have been experiencing only double digits in the temperatures.  Normally we're in 105+ range this time of year.  Needless to say 95 degrees is a mild spring day for us!  I had my first Support Group meeting last night and really enjoyed it.  The information provided was very helpful and the chance to talk with people who were 3 days out, 10 days out, 7 weeks out, 4 months out and 2 years was incredible.  The overwhelming response to "would you do this again" was a resounding YES!  Makes me feel so much better about my decision and journey I am on.  I am going to get my bloodwork done tomorrow, have a counselling appointment on Tuesday then we submit the file to the doctors to schedule that appointment.  They then file for insurance approval and once that is in we schedule surgery.  So, we're looking at 6 to 8 weeks!  Fingers crossed and prayers for approval please!  WE pick up Mr. Jayden for the week tonight.  We start with week on, week off schedule for the summer.  Dad's starts work at 4:30 am and gets home at 1 so he's only at the sitters from 6:30 until 1:30.  But, the sitter has lots of plans for the summer.  Waterworks Park, Free Movies, Library story time, etc.  I'd post a picture of my buddy but I can't figure out how to get it in here!!!!   We're gonna load up the quads and go riding this weekend somewhere up in the hills.  Oh, and I found the coolest thing!  It's a hydration bottle by Thermos!  Holds 8 oz of fluid and keeps it cold for 8 hours.  Has a locking flip top with a sippy lid.  Doesn't leak.  Doesn't wick moisture all over the desk from the condensation.  It was pricy - but since I can't stand warm water this is "da-bomb"!  It was $17 and I got it at Walgreens.

I feel bad for all those folks without AC or have to be outside in today's heat....  But I'M FREEZING in this office!!!  The AC is too high!!!

I have a parade of friends coming to visit from out of town, I'm excited!!  I need to get back on track with my running I have not completed a long run in  almost 3 weeks and I'm afraid to fall behind. But I don't want to run in this heat!! :(

Not much happening with me today, just hanging out. And keeping cool. I thought about going golfing but I would wanted to wear my shorts and my tattoo can not be in the sun yet. So I guess I will keep in doors, and do nothing.

Good TGIF Janine and Cali board!!!  I feel for those of you in the extreme heat! It isn't too bad here in SD yet, but I'm sure it will get here eventually! I too am so happy to be 100 pounds less to not be as HOT and SWEATY as I use to be!!! Janine, we are going to see a picture of you in that great dress, right?? Congrats on fitting into it now and getting it at 40% off too!!! WOOP!!! Not much planned for me this weekend, but I'm just happy to NOT be in the deep depression I was in last Friday and into the weekend!!!  Thanks for all the prayers for yesterday's appointment. Of course I don't know how it went, but hopefully it went well. Now I have the Pysch one of July 1 and hopefully I will know their decision soon after that!  Everyone have a GREAT weekend and try to stay COOL!!!     don't forget to DRINK, DRINK, DRINK!!!! water, not alcholic beverages!!! get your minds out of the bars!!!!  hee hee  you know if I'm talking to you!!! lmao biggest hugs and love, Becky

Good morning/afternoon Janine and Cali Crew. I have been geting my protein and water in and feel soooo much better. No more dizzy spells. This weekends agenda?? Being stuck at home while hubby plays race car driver at California Speedway all weekend. Other than that, nothing else going on.

My husband is being released from the second hospital he has been in this week. Still no explanation for his extreme chest pain. The latest test shows damage but not new so that's a blessing. Gotta love free wi-fi at the hospital.

The weather is supposedly warm here. Thankfully it doesn't bother me near as much as it used to.

My oldest girl is going to Munich this weekend. I am so excited for her. The youngest is coming home tonight from her dad's. YEA! I miss her.

My Basset, Gladys is been very lost with just me at the house (heck even I haven't been there much between work and the hospital) and she has been pouting. Last night, she slept in the garage instead of on the bed. That dog has some issues.

 I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I am going to take care of my family and try to catch up on some sleep.
