What a great Monday it is cause I took the day off .  Nothing special on tap.  Gonna drop my son off at summer camp (thank God for those day camps), hit the gym and then just chill out.  THE HOUSE WILL BE EMPTY, which it rarely is...so I"ll just bask in that.

Steve . . . you are handling things so well . . . and I hope you have a wonderful celebration of your brother and your family next weekend!  Take things a day at a time - and know we are all thinking of you.

Janine . . . I HOPE your back lets you camp!  Do you have an air matress?  That is one thing I don't have . . . but I've already pulled everything else together - I could be ready to leave in 30 minutes (AND CAN'T WAIT!).

I was wondering where those clouds dumped all the rain they had in them yesterday.  They kinda side stepped us in Hemet, although for a while I thought for sure we were going to be soaked.  It actually helped with the heat out here ... I don't think it broke 100 yesterday and we had a slight breeze. 

I am stuck in my recliner again today.  I am going stir crazy healing from my first round of PS.  But in the long run I will be FABULOUS!  I am having phantom feelings of some of the excess skin that isnt there anymore.  Yesterday, I had an itch (cuz I am healing duh) but I litereally went to lift the skin that isnt there anymore to scratch it... what a realization... I am still really swollen it has only been a week and a half but I can already see a differnce in my shape.  Pants that were tight (the stretchy ones) are now falling off... My hubby keeps saying "look up, look down... your pants are falling down"  I am like okay dude I get it....
All kidding aside he has been fabulous... a little dictator in keeping me from doing ANYTHING but he has been wonderful... Taking care of me, the kids, the house and working 60+ hrs each week.  I have been truly blessed by him in our lives.

We are now in the count down mode to our big move to Hesperia and I am soooo looking forward to a new start up there.  A new house (which we'll own)... with my new hubby of 2 months, a new job (different type of special ed position)... in my new body.  Can't ask for anything more... just wish I didn't have to pack... ewwwwwwww.  Hubby said since were moving ourselves we are ghetto moving... not sure what he means by that but it sounds scary.

glad to hear your b-day was a good one.

We had a nice weekend,spent time with my in-laws this weekend BBQing and then went fishing yesterday up in the mountains.  Let me tell ya- it was COLD up there!  I had to borrow my sis in law's pants and jacket for me and some jackets for the kids.  Just wasnt expecting it to be that cold there!  Plus, we got rained on a couple of times, here and there- but nothing too bad.

It really was a nice time, until our drive home and I got a flippin' speeding ticket.  This stretch of country road I was on, has NO speed limit signs...the cop clocked me at 66mph in a 55mph zone (how was I supposed to know??)  Anyway, that was the turd in the punchbowl of my weekend.  I havent gotten a ticket in well over 10 years, but the jerk police officer checked on the ticket that I could NOT go to traffic school to clear the points against my record....so, don't know what that will all mean in the long run.  Mike said that I am probably looking at a fine of 200 or so and that hurts as well.   That means no nails or pedi's for a while.   Oh well, that is what I get, I suppose.

So, off to start the day.  My oldest has a CT scan today to find out about her upcoming oral surgery.

I've had speeding tickets here, you can probably make arrangements with the court to do online classes. I know I did, the thing is, you still pay the fine and the school fees, but it doesn't go on your record....you have to wait until you get the official notice in the mail.....he was probably just being a jerk.....

you know what? He was also going to charge me $85 for not having my current address on my licensce. I had NO idea that you had 10 days from when you move to update your address!  My licensce has my address on it from, like 3 houses ago.  Whoopsies on that one too....

Didnt see that on the ticket, but I am getting a sharpie out and writing our new addy on it today!

You have to do it thru DMV, they give you a little brown card to write it on, you can also do it online....

Good Morning California!

Only 11 Days till surgery for me!  I have been on the liquid diet now for 3 days.  It has not been as bad as I thought it would be.  I have lost 9 lbs. in 3 days.  I think that is a lot. and it is a start.  Gets me that closer to the goal.  Weekend was wonderful with all the kids in the pool and just enjoying the warm weather.  Went to get some school supplies and wow!  Did I notice all the food smells on the highway to the mall.  Went to Target and thought I would die the popcorn smelt so good.  So I grabbed a diet coke, got what I needed and headed home.  That was probably the toughest the liquid diet has been so I guess that is pretty good.  Scholarmama, Sounds like you are doing well!  Your clouds headed my way, but kept going past us.  I hear Apple Valley got a pour down, but it skipped us.  Thank goodness. 

Janine,  Can you tell me how to get an angel.  I think I need one.  Thanks so much and everyone have a happy day today.

P.S.  As of tooday it has been a week of no smoking!

Oh, Janine, trust me, I paid for it, I woke up after about 4 hours of sleep Sunday morning with body aches like I had a hangover, and I had NOT been drinking! LOL
