Happy Thursday Morning Everyone

Good Morning All:

I'll be off to see Dr. Simchuk for my Monday surgery.  Got my new puppy, a little yorkie I named her Abbey Rose, she thinks she is the boss of our 90lb Lab  Malachi.   If surgery won't be enough keeping up with potty training her will be a way of getting me up off my butt....

Mornin' Diane and Crew!!

Not much to report for me today, I woke up with an odd pain in my ankle...I don't remember hurting it, but it sure is painful this morning?!?!? I guess I'm just going to keep an eye on it throughout the day and see what happens?

Diane, I LOVE Nascar too! I was going to re-post yesterday and I forgot! I have never been to an actual Nascar race, but we go to the Irwindale Speedway to see the races from time to time, it's always really fun! I want to come watch when you drive that car!!!

I got my first invitation to test for a job up north in the mail yesterday, so I booked flights to spend a week up north around the dates of the test and I am going to try to set up some interviews that week while I am there.

I found out yesterday that I will not be staying at this job, they will be eliminating my position after I finish up the project I am working on. I will be here next week and maybe the week after that, but that's it. I leave to head up north on the 8th of Aug, so it kind of works out. I would have liked to have stayed though, it's a good job and close to home. Oh well, I refuse to get stressed!

Speaking of work, I better get to it!!! I hope everyone has a great Thursday!!!

My hand is feeling better- a little stronger. 
I had a hot date last night.  Won't say anything more about that.
I am supposed to meet up with my new friend this evening.  Potential boyfriend material?
I weighed myself this morning, and I am back in the high 170's. 
I plan on running tonight and I might join a gym (still pondering that). 

Diane-I am glad to hear that Doug is okay.   It sure was good to finally meet you last week.

Morning glories!!

Aah, Thursday. My favorite day of the week, even more so than Fridays. What could be better than anticipation?? You know, that split second before that special kiss. Aaah, that's the best.

Anywhoo .... Happy Thursday, y'all. I love Thursdays because I get to close my day with rehearsal for choir. Nothing like ending a stressful, long day with beautiful music and hard work on it. It's my peace, my joy, my love, my passion. And I'm so grateful I get to do it ... AND get paid for it. Whoohoo!!

Surfing thru resumes for an open position today. Man, that is exhausting!! And i feel so judgemental, seeing no experience in the area we're trying to fill and moving on. That's the nature of the job, though. Oh well.

Assistant to the EVP of Publicity. It's a sh*t job, long hours, hard work, ball-busting boss for NO pay. Ideal for college grads who just want to be in "the industry" and work their way up.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello.  I am glad to hear that Doug wasn't hurt in the fall and good luck to you will your shoulder surgery.
As for me, things are going well.  I was staying at my mom's all week and last night was my first night home and on my own with lil man.  It was great.  Great to sleep in my own bed.  I continue to feel great and tolerating all my liquid protien's.  I found once I added milk instead of water they all became much more tasty!

Good Morning All!  Good to hear everyone is doing reasonably well. 

Jayden and I hung out yesterday after work.  We went to Haven Humane society to look at all the animals, to play with them and to just check them out.  Told him going in we were NOT going to take any home, this was a learning exercise for him.  I talked and he listened about all the reasons why these animals both young and old were there.  How some got lost, how some weren't wanted any more and turned in, how some were just abandoned and left to fend for themselves.  I told him that it was up to us to take care of these wonderful companions and while we aren't able to take them all home with us, we can come and help out.  We can right now visit, play and cuddle the critters.  Later we can volunteer to sit at pet shows, clean cages, donate bags of food, etc.  I think he got it.  He didn't ask to take any home - but sat and loved and talked to a couple "special" one's.  One was the most adorable - and if I didn't have 3 dogs already he'd be at my house.  He's a ........ are you ready for this???............. black lab bassett hound mix.  Oh, My.  Black lab head, bassett ears, bassett legs and feet and lab tail.  And a lover.

We then went and put gas in the car ($4.05 a gallon!!!) and went to Red Robin for dinner.  The kid is so awsome!   At 9:45 we went down to where Daddy's working under the bridge and sat with him while he ate.  It was good.  Then, home to bed, awake at 1:30 when Joe got home to chat for a while, then slid back into my coma.

Well, if that isn't the most adorable Frankenstein combo I've heard of in a while. I can just picture it. How cute!!!

Maureen, I will take your $4.05 a gallon and you can have our $4.29! Hehe!  It has been going down a tiny bit over the last week or so ... My last fill-up cost me $71! The cost of gas is keeping me out of Target ... In a way that's a good thing, I think ... But still!
